Darksiders [PC]

Steam is so great as well as the dev's. Got a free remaster of Bioshock 2, and now Darksiders Warmaster. Take that consoles!

Is it worth buying DSII:DE if i already have DSII? I have not played either game yet.
 
I guess both are really good and Hey they are not First Person perspective I finished Dark Siders like 6 years ago very nice looking game gameplay has something to be desired though.
I can't wait to see how it looks on my 2K monitor on PC I think I played the first one on a projector believe it or not :clown::clown::clown: I never played Darksiders 2 but didn't want to pay 59.00 for it way back then.
 
Darksiders 2 is more of the same, although I remember it being a bit tougher overall.
 
The Darksiders games were great fun with lots of gameplay. I still have some fading hope for a third installment one day.
 
Interesting that they gave previous owners the update for the first game but not the 2nd. It's still unbelievably awesome that they did this either way. I'm 1/2 tempted to buy the remaster of the 2nd one just as a "thank you" and subtle hint that I'd love a 3rd game. I'll probably never even get around to playing it.

I thought they did give the Deathinitive Edition away as long as you owned all the DLC?

Game look good at 2k but the Sword play is pretty annoying as usual until you get power ups.
 
I am so happy that Warmastered Edition is free for those who owned the game already.
I love this game, can't say the same about the second part of Darksiders. It was not that good as the first one.
 
By the power of ME - I resurrect this thread!!!!!!!

I just bought this pack & started downloading the Darksiders Franchise Pack (Includes 3 items: Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition, Darksiders II Deathinitive Edition Soundtrack, Darksiders Warmastered Edition)

For whatever reason, Darksiders Warmastered is cue'd (22 GB) along with the original Darksiders (9.7 GB)

Do I need the original version to install the Warmastered version?

I'd rather not DL the extra 9.7 GB if I don't have to...

My favorite game ending so far has been the one from the first Darksiders game. It gave me chills and hope for a future 3 other games to showcase all horsemen.
 
The Warmastered version looks really good but that damn sword sound just gets really annoying after a while I think they toned it down with Death in DSII.
I played the original on PS3.

No, you don't need to install the original version to play the remastered one.
 
Thx Armenius - I fired up Darksiders Warmastered Edition for about an hour over the weekend.

KB / mouse controls were OK, but I this sure seems to be a gamepad game...

Fired up Darksiders 2 Deathintitive editon got to the forge I always liked the story in these games and big chicks :p
