Dark Souls II Beta

They changed the endurance/encumberment completely.
Vitality has been split up into Vitality and Vigor. Vigor controls your health and nothing else. Vitality controls your SPEED.
The video I saw, the guy was running ridiculously fast, WAY faster than the max run speed in Dark Souls. It was pretty crazy. Someone should totally check that out.
 
I watched the entire beta on YouTube...looked good...I hear the MP needs some more work and polish but the single player is nearly perfect

I wish I didn't see those 2 new boss fights though (even though I skipped parts of it to avoid seeing too much)...would rather have remained completely spoiler free

It is limited to the first 90k people who use it. As of right now, it's still good, but If you've got an opportunity to get on it now, I would advise it. Who knows how long it will take for the code to run out.

You may able to redeem it by logging into PSN on a computer. Worth a shot if you don't have access to your PS3 right now.
 
Just did it, still works.

However, it is called a Network Test so I wouldn't really expect it to be a full beta or last all that long.
 
It's only 11pm PST- 2am pst this Saturday/Sunday.

If you cant play at that time just pass up the beta.
 
It explains why me and my brother couldn't get in and kept getting the update message required even after downloading the latest version :)
 
NA and SA got boned hard on this. Bad move on their part , people here love the DS franchise a lot.
