What exactly is the C7?

"the upcoming C7 copper"
What brand / model keyboard, is that? ... I'm looking for a tenkeyless board, and that might fit the bill...
Oh, and great cable management, by the way! I have a Silverstone, and want to find replacement modular cables, just to neaten the cable situation.
It's to make sure the fan intakes air only from outside the case and does not recycle it
just a few mm. here: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA3TR2G91597How high is the gasket?
It's 92 wide / long, I know that much... but how high are they?
No worries if you don't know or can't really say. (The website linked doesn't specify either, but am grateful for the link anyway, thanks.)
good idea but why worry about the copper, its stronger than the plastic. looks-wise I get you point but thats subjective.Nice – that's very clean.
For mine I used loops of monofilament fishing line. It's strong, nearly invisible, and minimizes contact with the copper.
In the end, the best fan to put down the case is the:
Noctua NF A9x14
Yes, it's a pain to mount, you should be VERY DELICATE withe the raiser, you have to extend at maximum...
And you should be SUPER VERY DELICATE when screwing motherboard in place...
you are doing it at your own risk, I do not take any responsibility, man advised !!!

No problemDid you have any problems with the fan blades scraping the bottom of the case?
The development is done. But currently there aren't enough boards for this connector. Furthermore I think 90% wouldn't use this port because the standard for USB sticks or headphones is the Type-A port.
What about a regular USB 3.0 internal header but with a Type-C plug? Do those exist?
So I think it's still too "soon" for USB-C on motherboards, if it's not backed by a Thunderbolt3 chip, you can't really do much with it, so I don't understand why people are asking for it.
I think USB-C is, by definition, version 3.1 or greater.
If I take a look in my crystall globe I would say the new Key-A-20pin header will not be the standard on ITX boards before 2020.
QuantumBraced: Currently no prototypes exists only a technical drawing of the supplier.
dglow: No Type-C is only the connector. USB3.0 = USB 3.1gen1 and the fast one is USB 3.1 gen2. Some modern smartphones have a Type-C connector with a USB 2.0 controller chip behind it. A Type-C port say nothing over the speed. Due to Apple everyone think Type-C means USB3.1 gen2 + Thunderbolt 3 and Power Output. And this is the reason why I never would add a Type-C plug without the new USB3.1 gen2 internal header (Key-A-20pin)
If I take a look in my crystall globe I would say the new Key-A-20pin header will not be the standard on ITX boards before 2020.
If I'm not mistaken, that's the same header Asus has been including on some of their boards since last year. They remain the only manufacturer to do so, though. Currently, that's only two ITX boards with the header (one of which isn't even Gen 2).I bet there will be one next year. I mean that literally, anyone wanna bet?
Are you sure there's not something wrong with your PSU? I haven't noticed any noice coming from my SF600Hello good people!
I have Corsair SF600 in my DAN case. All parts of system are very quiet except this PSU. Are there any quieter PSU's that I can use?
Thanks!
Yeah, is's okay. I used this PSU in my previous build in NODE 202 and it was okay. But now it spins it's fan to fast as I guess(Are you sure there's not something wrong with your PSU? I haven't noticed any noice coming from my SF600
I think that is the same header that Asus used, first in the Z270 and now in the Z370. The one in the Z370 is a 3.1gen2 header if I'm not mistaken. If I'm not mistaken, that's the same header Asus has been including on some of their boards since last year. Oh, I was thinking about it. But I'm looking for alternative, maby for quiter PSU) Or corsair is the quietest?)You should replace the fan with a Noctua A9x14 fan, you can buy an adapter from moddiy or plug the fan to an available MB header
I wouldn't go around advising people to mod power supplies. Don't fuck with that if you don't know what you're doing. You should replace the fan with a Noctua A9x14 fan, you can buy an adapter from moddiy or plug the fan to an available MB header
