Nope, this is not over.....you got to 100Ghz too fast...

This is now the "D to 500Ghz" thread!!!!

GO FOLD!

:D

Well don't mind me if I haul in a stable...er a garden,... er what-the-hell-ever ya call it (*noobishness showing*). Anywho...

Dual Xeon Tualatin 1.4's
Dual Xeon 2.4,
P4 3.0
P4 2.4.

These all run 24/7. Currently have another Dual 2.4 in the back room, but it seems that one is only 'a potted plant'...heh, not gonna go in my garden. BUT, if I have my way it will be borged. Got a few other Duals that are not assembled, but are on the way. Will keep updating.

Got a question here...If I run 4 instances of F@H on a dual HT P4 rig, does it slow it down? Would it complete faster if I only ran 2 instances (1 per CPU)?

4 instances on a dual HT Pentium should run a bit faster than 2 instances.

You can count my 13.08 GHz in, gentlemen! 9 rigs and asked on #10 this evening!

Do we count PR's on AXP's or gHz?

470.32

468.12

470.32

We count the actual Ghz.

i watered my farm with a "new" 733mhz p3 today

468.07

467.337

Oh yeah! Borged my 1GHz VIA chip oced to 1.2GHz!

467.337 - 1.2 = 466.137 GHz to go!!

Make sure you post some results of how it folds, such as points per day. I wouldn't go out and buy one for folding since it's not really cost effective for how they run, but I'm interested in exactly how well they really do.

466.137

373.287

Hope my math is right. All new gzh in the past 3 days. :) We just gotta beat -that- other team.

Marty

I just joined up last night. You can add my 2.8P4 for a total of 370.487. Good luck everyone. Let's do some serious folding. :D

EPIA M-10000
1GHz Nemiah @ 1.2GHz

Big packets turned off and doing a timeless tinker WU:
0.379 PPH
9.096 PPD
63.672 PPW

Probably a dumb question but were do you find info such as points per day. All I can tell you guys is it's completing a frame in 6min 39sec.

Well, you can take 6min 39sec and divide 24*60 (number of minutes in a day) by it to see how many steps you get in a day.... Take that number and multiply it by Points per Step (i.e. 304 points / 100 steps = 3.04 points). This would give you the number of points per day....

24*60/6.65 = 216.54 Steps per Day
304/100 = 3.04 Points Per Step
3.04 * 216.54 = 658.28 Points per Day (ppd)

Or you could run EMIII.

Damn, I would think it would run better than that. I've got a PII 266 that puts out about that much. Well, at least on a fast timeless WU.

Did you say that this was also a media box or something? If it's been in use for other things then I would understand why the production seems a bit low.

Yeah, I almost feel bad about counting its actual GHz :p

It's a dedicated download and IM box. It's running F@H, MBM5, Trillian, BitComet (with bout 10 torrents seeding at any given time, no dling so no hashing going on), Sysreset MIRC, and NetLimiter. Usually F@H gets around 95% of the processor so those stats are fairly close to its actual production if it were a dedicated folding box.

I had actually expected it to do much better than that. I know it wasn't very good for folding and apps like it but I didn't think it was that bad. It's putting out numbers around what a PII 266-350 would probably do.

I rounded up a 2500+ Barton yesterday. Immediately got a 241 pt. Tinker; waiting for it to post to bring me to 10 active processors. Should be tomorrow!

Subtract 1.83 GHz from 373.287 =

371.457 to go!

Threw together a p3 1.0 and it just turned in it's first WU today.
371.457 - 1.0 = 370.457

modest... but a CPU is a CPU....
besides... you've not heard the last from me. ;)

borged a 1.6 P4 at the office just now.

367.657 - 1.6 = 366.057

I'm going for about 10 2.4s, I'll let you know what happens... :D

366.057 - 2.8 = 363.257

Just joined today, and if i've got this right, then:
363.257GHz - 1.5GHz = 361.757GHz

I just joined today also, now running F@H 24/7 on an Athlon XP 2200+ and a Celery 433MHz.

361.757GHz - 2.233GHz = 359.524GHz

Welcome aboard!

Added 1Ghz of Athlon goodness to the farm:

359.524GHz - 1Ghz = 358.524Ghz

Jeez guys, keep this alive! 358.524gHz to go... We're predicted to pass the Aussies the 18th of march, but they pass 100,000,000 the 4th

New overclocks count right? They did for someone else so I'm counting it.

358.524gHz - .572= 357.952

I don't know how were going to hit 100,000,000 before those buggers.
