CS : S beta 7pm 2 hours!!!

> anyone else fiending to test this game?

If by "fiending" you mean "worshipping demons" then.. no, none of that.

On a related topic, is anybody elses "Update news"-option working? (Play games->CS: Source->Update News)

All I get is a

"Not Found

The requested URL /platform/update_history/Counter-Strike Source Beta .html was not found on this server."

(notice the space after "beta").

Maybe if they didn't use IE, things would suck less.

They moved it back to 10 P.M EST :(

If they screw this one up, nobody will ever forgive them. Get ready to be the most hated man this side of Bin Laden, Gabe Newell.

Ditto. I was actually checking their news page every 10 minutes or so today once I got home from work to see if and when this would happen. Glad it'll be right when my 2 year old goes to bed :D

anyone have any idea how long this beta will last or how long it'll be till its open beta?

ive heard estimates of 2 weeks..sounds about right to me. i doubt there will be an open beta..HL2 will be out soon enough so i wouldnt worry about it
