So the majority of gamers are looking for pure hype? Because that's why anyone who bought it on Day 1 made their decision. It's not as if they said "Oh, no more dedicated servers? Awesome!" "No leaning? Sweet deal!" "Cramped FOV? I fucking love puking!"

Seriously, everyone needs to get over the zero-day sales and check back in six-eight months.

Counter-strike needs more people, everyone needs to go buy their kids / relatives / friends who play on consoles half-life for Christmas. Counter-strike is still a free mod right?

Unless you don't like them, then by all means do not let them have the game!

Well thank Zeus for idiots! I love the CoD series and MW2 has been no different. It's a fun game and I'm glad its on the PC and hope to see it continue on the PC.

Opinion invalidated.
CoD 1 was a fantastic game in every respect.
MW2 is a contrived piece of crap in SP, and a completely unbalanced clusterfuck in MP.

Conclusion: get out.
 
All I know is MW2 is the first PC game I've purchased in about a year... I just gave up on the entire platform but this one has brought me back into the fold. Can't wait for BF: BC2 next year!

We probably won't see it until next year but it will be done by treyarch and it will probably be awesome. They did a fantastic job of listening to the pc community, updating and adding features to World at War. Game is excellent.

Single player was terrible, and the multiplayer gets old quickly. I'm having more fun with CoD4, its fun with more then 12 people playing at once.
 
SP: fucking retarded story line. 6 hours on veteran... i would have probably been done in 3-4 on a sane difficulty.

MP: they've added so much stupid shit by this point and then removed key features. it's barely cod any more... it doesn't even play like it really any more.

COD4 at least somewhat had the core gameplay intact, it's basically gone at this point.
 
CSS is still my main game. I will NEVER get tired of it. The game style is perfect.

I love Steam Stats. The hardware survey is very cool as well.
 
CS1.6,CSS,Dota are all games I would categorized pretty close to a sport. It's the same thing over and over with the same rules and content. The competitiveness and strive for perfection is really addictive for a lot of people. I can still have a blast on 1.6, the games really don't age compared to the vast majority. They can also be a complete shit experience for a lot because of the player base. I thought cs crowd was harsh till I got into wc3 battlenet. They made me sad panda when I made any mistakes.
