Here's what I have as of now:
CPU: Intel 2500k
CPU Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212
Motherboard: Asus P8P67 rev 3.1
GPU: HIS IceQ X Turbo 6950 2GB
HDD: Samsung 1TB
SSD: Crucial M4 64GB
Powersupply: Corsair 650W
Memory: Corsair Vengeance (2x4gb)
DVD: Asus
Card Reader: Koutech
OS: Windows 7
Keyboard/Mouse: Logitech
Total: $1,277 shipped
My questions are if I am missing anything or if there are any components which I should switch out. As of right now I still haven't chosen a case. Something that I added to my cart added this Case to my shopping cart at zero cost so it's an option but I'm really not a fan. I can't decide whether or not I want the whole light up, windowed case or not. The Antec 900 and Cooler Master Scout look okay all lit up but I'm not sure if that's my thing. I've been looking at the Lian Li ones for simplicity but can't find one I like at a budget less than $100. Any suggestions?
As of right now, I'm hoping that I can buy on Monday. If I can't, the computer wont be purchased til January 13th.
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming and photoshop
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Max is $1,500 but would like to be under if possible.
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
USA
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
CPU, Motherboard, power supply, memory, hdd, sdd, card reader, dvd, case, gpu, mouse/keyboard, cpu fan, operating system
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
None.
6) Will you be overclocking?
Light overclocking of cpu
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1920 x 1080. Currently 1 23" Dell, will be two soon after computer build
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Within 2 weeks I will be buying parts
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? etc.
Crossfire is possible down the road, USB 3.0 preferred
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
No.
Thanks for your help in advance.
