WalMart is a great store. They have never given me crap about returning or buying something. They are one of the biggest companies in the world for a reason, and it's not cause they suck. I would suggest you take your business to Staples and buy the game. Wait, you cannot buy it from there. Sorry.
 
Oh, and I've been having a great time with MW2 multiplayer on PC. SP was fun but not amazing.
 
Thanks for the heads-up. My local BestBuy honored the advertised price. Been waiting for a deal on the PC version for a while now.

The ad is in the store, I grabbed one when I walked in, picked up the game, walked to the register and showed the ad and paid $29.99 for it.

Over at Slickdeals they are saying that some stores have a sign saying that the $29.99 price is a misprint and won't honor the price, just take the ad to Walmart or Target then.

You're probably better off grabbing the printed paper ad because I am pretty sure it really was a misprint then bring it in-store and see if you get lucky with the people there. I personally just went to Target and got it price matched.

I got one from Best Buy too. I went at 9am when they first opened. They had signs saying that the MW2 ad was a misprint but tried anyways. I tried to get 2 but only was able to get 1. The manager changed the price for 1 of the games before realizing the ad was a mistake. He still allowed me to get one at 29.99 though.

UPDATE: went to another BB and was able to pick up a 2nd copy for my bro. Thanks OP!!!

lol, I bought it for $30 at Best Buy.

I just went there to pick up the Sunday ad to use for price match, but thought, "hey, let's just see if they'll honor the price." I show them the price in the ad and they sold it to me for that. Yay.
 
Just got back from Bestbuy. The had a sign on the door, and one by the game isle with stacks of the PC game. Sign stated it was a misprint and would not be honored, and they apologized for the inconvenience.

Took it to the front registers and showed the girl the ad, and she rang it up.

Wednesday.

Hi,

Good to see other people are getting a gimped game for a better price. I am one would buy the game but not at $60 which I thought was out of line. However, $30 bucks is good enough for the "on the rails" FPS Single player game. If I want to dabble with the Multi player I have the option. Besides didn't a bunch of people call it an expansion pack anyway? :) Personally, I would have loved to have seen it at $9.99.
 
Stopped at target with just that page of the ad. They said they wanted the complete ad. Asked why they said to confirm that it was this weeks ad. Showed them in the bottum corner of the page the date. They still said no go....

Wal-mart was sold out. Will stop at another wal-mart tommorow after work.

Wow, same exact thing with me.
I went to Wal-Mart and they were sold out.
I went to Target with just a printed copy of page 18 and they said I needed the entire print ad.

Except finally I went to Best Buy, took an ad from the entrance, brought it to the counter, and they sold it to me for $30.
 
Success, picked up 2 copies for friends for Xmas. Can't beat 2 for 1 deals.

The misprint is on page 18 under the Xbox game where they list the price for the PS3 and PC, but on page 19 its listed by the right price.
 
I went to a shell gas station around 9:15 PM bought sunday paper for 2 dollars then i went to walmart show them the ad and they match the price.:)

California state sales tax is 8.25%. Apart from that there could be additional tax depending on which county or city that you are in. Its 8.75% in Orange County

its 9.75 here in LA county. dave man is nothing something i picked up from another forum juss a saying.
