I think I'm going to pick up CoD 4 for the multiplayer but I'm currently waiting for my step-up 8800gt to come in.

Anyone else going to get it? The demo was pretty good
 
I went back and played the CoD4 demo....man....Crysis has really spoiled me:eek: My first impressions of the demo werent that great either...seemed like more of a CoD2 mod?
 
pre-ordered and hopefully waiting for me after work tomorrow, (just gotta convince the wife that we've gotta swing by the store...) ;)
 
I'll be picking up a copy tomorrow more than likely. I've been looking forward to this game quite a bit since I played the demo.

For me it's also going to be UT3 and Crysis. I may pick up Jericho as well and possibly Timeshift, but SOF3 doesn't look too good from what I've read about it. Only time will tell.

jericho isn't worth it imo. Way way way too repetitive. Timeshift is definitely fun though
 
my only fear is that there won't be enough people playing/buying it online which will pretty much render the multiplayer useless
 
I'll bite, just not tomorrow, next paycheck. I still find myself playing COD2 to kill time and COD4 just looks sweet, I wanna know what happens.

Damnit, Steam doesn't get it till Nov 12 anyways, pre-downloads start on Nov 5.
 
I'm so f**king ready to pick up my pre-order from the BestBuy store tomorrow right after my 9-10AM math class.
 
Geeezus, first I need to pickup HGL, then CoD4, gonna make me broke this weekend. No partying i guess....
 
Ill pass on this one, unless I see it in the bargin bin. Has some neat features, runs and looks great, but plays like an arcade shooter. With a game that looks and feels real, to toss all realism when it comes to gameplay....meh.
 
Yes this, and the F.E.A.R. expansion, and maybe timeshift.

To be honest, I'm still waiting for America's Army 3.0 ( using the U3 engine) which was supposedly to be released last Sept.

Heh, exact same here. CoD4 feels way too much like CoD2. The demo was fun, but not $50 worth of fun. Might pick it up in the bargain bin a year from now.

Crysis on the the other hand... mmm Crysis. So much damn fun - it's like a virtual playground. I haven't had that much fun with physics since I first got the gravity gun in HL2.
 
I just played the demo and Hell YES ! I'm getting this bad boy. :eek:
 
Just pre-ordered from my gamestop. Hopefully the MP will be populated, looks as if most folks are going for the console version.
 
DON'T I repeat DON'T get the limited edition, it is a big fat waste of $10, if u want more info PM me, but seriously it is BALLS!!!
