Installed FAH GPU tracker V2.
Options:
Enable CPU folding
Use Multicore SMP
Use All cores
Enable GPU folding with GPU0 selected
Set my name and Team#

GPU folding is going great. CPU folding shows CPU disabled, with SMP running. Project 6701, 921 Points, 0% complete. I started this a few hours ago.

Ideas?

I don't know much about exactly how the core works, but I'm pretty sure this means that it's not being used. Check the Task Manager, see if it shows up.

Well in the meantime: I stopped the SMP portion from FAH Tracker and started up the standard Windows sys tray client.

Oddly enough, my 6 core was hitting 100% usage with SMP turned on. Now with that stopped, and the standard client running, I'm barely hitting 45%.

I can see the image if I open it directly.

It seems to be properly set up. And the fact that your single threaded client seems to be folding fine adds to the mystery.

I am having the same issue, which I posted in the main easy thread. 4 cores at 100% with SMP but won't go past 0%. Normal SMP that I installed manually works fine. Windows 7 64-Bit in case that has anything to do with it.

The only suggestion I can give you is to try setting up the SMP client normally and see if that works for you.

sounds to me like its having issues writing to the files, probably a permissions issue. maybe try running the program in admin mode.

It's a good guess. I would also suggest trying to install the smp client manually in case the software didn't do it correctly.

Have you tried deleting the tracker and redownloading it. I had a problem with the tracker and it fixed the problem and havent had one since
