I had just spent the day doing wine tasting (a lot of it) when I took a shot at it. Who would have thought that searching Google while under the influence would be so much fun!

If the monkeys can solve these problems with the CC at [H], I'm writing them in as my vote for president in 2012!!! :p
 
I'm with Smoke. There was way too much drama the last 2 years because of it. I hate drama.
 
Yea it really ruined it for last year.

The thing is it went on and on after the competition had already been won.
That was just immature.
 
Since it looks like the Horde probably won't be participating in the CC this year I may just have to help out MPC with the CC. I just can't stand the thought of sitting idle and giving team EVGA a chance to win it, even it if means giving a few points to MPC.
 
If you wanna fight EVGA so hard, see which team has a better chance to win it and throw yourself behind them

Actually, I think as a team we should support someone
If everyone on [H] that wanted to fold for the CC could but under MaxPC or something, that way people could still participate and we wouldn't have to worry about the drama here (not suggesting we create drama just because we can)

Person'ly, I've always considered MaxPC the closest thing to a sister forum of [H], and if we planned something like this I'd probly turn my ps3 on for them, too much hassle to switch over SMP builds tho

No, it wouldn't even be a competition if [H] didit this yearbecause so few would do it
but, those that still want to, might as well help out a worthy cause

and ya, so what if some of us have a chip against them? A lot of people think a certain way about EVGA being behind a team in the normal rankings, and each person has their own view why
they stay on their forums and say that everyone else is bitches for pointing out the obvious, and were sooo bitter, but then when one of our own goes over they blast him, their mod pretty much goes STFU, it's not fair and we want it like that

I havnt posted there and I don't plan on it, I lurk. But I am not interested in their drama one bit, and I don't feel most other people are wanting to get into all that bullshit either. They're gonna beat us, that's that. Science gets done, that's that. Most of us are fine with leaving it there, because shit just gets crazy over there when you even suggest that the buyout could maybe be slighty related to their 50% jump in active users over 2 days. If they want to act like that, they can stay over there and we can stay here, they can try to muscle out a CC this year, anyone here that feelslike folding in it can help on of our rival teams out ( I'm gonna use my PS3 and maybe 1GPU on MPC :) )

but as a team, after 5 pages it should be obvious that evga has little to do with our decison, it's more in the intrest of our own team if anything

Yea i agree with what Vaulter has said 100%.

I know EVGA is going to pass us, thats fine its not the first time we have been passed.
What I dont like is their general attitude and how their team is run.
I also want to make sure they dont win the CC.

I will be switching all of my gear over to MPC for the duration of CC, and if the CC is something you would like to participate in I suggests you also switch your gear over to MPC.

Lets not make it easy for EVGA.
 
that would amuse me, a mercenary folder to foil evga. That would be most tempting....

This was basically the point of the promotion. We want an unfair advantage - this is war. EVGA doesn't take to competition lightly, the fact that it's taken this long to come close to your team is both annoying, and a testament to your team's power.

While we're talkin' smack, I don't think we'll have to worry about you once we pass you... we've got bigger fish to fry.

Parja, keep posting and you'll ensure that the [H]orde will never participate in another CC again. As you can see, you're just bringing out our bad side, which most of us didn't want to show. This is the exact reason why many of us who have been here for the past 2 CCs don't want to participate.

What's your purpose posting in this thread anyway, Parja? to commemorate your one year anniversary leaving the [H] at last year's CC? Seriously, it behooves you to be less instigative. This topic is already sufficiently contentious as it is here. We need less inciting comments, especially coming from other teams who should be supportive, not inflammatory.

On the merc side of things, we can take pics of our rigs with guyfawkes (sp?) masks next to them and go post em at MPC if some choose to help them (or other teams) during the CC

No, it's not on and you damn well know it if you had actually read the thread. This is a discussion thread for [H] about whether or not to mess with the Chimp Challenge or not. This is stated in the very first post of this thread.

Since you can't seem to comprehend the first post or many of the other posts after that, I'll lay it out for you. The [H]orde is not participating in the Chimp Challenge which is blatantly obvious to everyone but you.

Get your trolling out of here now.
