Castle Crashers!

I'm 80% sure I'll get it, depends on the demo but I expect it to be good.
 
I played a little of the demo this morning before work. I need to play some more but I like it. I might need some people to play with though because I'm unsure my friend will buy this.
 
I'll download the trial version when I get off work later today. If it's good then I'm definitely going to buy it. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.
 
I think this is the funnest XBL arcade game I've ever played. Totally worth the 1200 MS points IMO. With 4 people it can get confusing as to who is who and where you are at sometimes but its still fun as hell.

Edit: Forgot to mention the soundtrack is awesome, too. :D
 
Alright, I played the trial version a couple times and I think I'm going to buy it (haven't yet, but probably will tonight).
 
Played through the trial and unlocked the full game right after. It's great mindless fun.
 
anyone have an idea on gameplay time on the main storyline? 5-6 hours?
 
I've played between 4 and 5 hours and I'm not done yet. I'm level 20 and I think I'm pretty close to the end.
 
This game is everything that an XBLA game should be. Over-the-Top is the best way I can describe the action and the art direction. TheToE deems it "Pure Gold".
 
Seemed like a lot of fun and the graphics were shockingly really good. I think I might end up getting this one, too.
 
I bought it last night and me and my son played for a couple of hours and it was awesome, I really didn't expect to enjoy it this much but it's easilly the best Live Arcade game I've downloaded. I'm currently at the Dragon boss who holds the gold boat wheel thingy and I'm having a blast with it.

On a side note why is it most animals in the game have like the rocket shits?:D
 
i just played the demo but it was awesome. I might have to buy this. Just wish i had 4 friends that will also get it to play with.

I've put a few hours into the game so far (just got all three gold items so that I can cross the lake...), and so far there has only been one level that involves any flying fecal matter. Basically, you are in a forest setting and a huge monster is following you... all the forest animals start sh*tting themselves when they hear the loud foot stomps off in the distance. Just wanted to point that out in case anyone was thinking of staying away from the game because of this... I've absolutely loved the humor and overall feeling of the game so far and would hate for someone to not play it because they think the entire game is stuffed full of poo jokes. :D

Yeah... I don't really find that kind of thing funny but it got a chuckle out of me in the game. :)
 
I just finished it now. Took me about 8-10 hours and I'm at level 39. I've read other places that some beat it at level 26 in 5 or so hours but I messed around a lot, and wanted to replay levels because the animations were too funny to only watch once. Wait till the end scene when the game is over, I was laughing pretty hard. Game is fantastic, I cant wait to play it through with the other characters again.
 
This was an incredibly worthwhile purchase. The quality level starts high and stays high.

The developers did a great job of picking out exactly what they wanted to do and then polishing it all to the hilt. It's a solid game through and through.
 
Played for several hours with 3 friends last night, got to lvl 12 or so. It's a really fun game, worth buying if you have people to play with, i could see it being a lot worse if you are playing alone though.
 
Brings me back to the days of Ninja Turtles Turtles in Time. This game is awesome and super hilarious. My group didn't bring enough controllers, so two of us had to use Soul Calibur arcade sticks, which actually works fine! :D
 
I just wanted to add that this is a great game. A friend picked this up last friday and four of us played through the entire game in one night - I will add that the game is -much- easier with multiple players - after the session, I bought it myself and the levels we got through relatively easy with 4P were -rough-.

Still, a great game, with a great degree of replayability, between item collecting and unlocking new characters.

QFT - Even though I finished it, I can't stop playing and am now playing through with other characters just to unlock more characters and collect weapons. The boss battles are memorable and epic in every way.

I only have played the demo...and from what I have played....the boss battles are memorable because they kicked my @ss from here to next week. Great game though!
