Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Officially Announced, Launches With 16 Maps From 2009's MW2. Out Nov 10 2023

Modern Warfare III releases on November 10 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The campaign is playable one week early for everyone who preorders the game. Preordering the game also gets you early access to the upcoming multiplayer beta. PlayStation users get in first, but it will eventually be open to everyone across platforms, regardless of preorder status.

The campaign focuses on Task Force 141 getting back together to take down Makarov, with Captain Price leading the way in a fight against "the ultimate threat." The campaign is described as "dark and gritty."

On the multiplayer side, the game will launch with all 16 maps from 2009's Modern Warfare II. These maps have been "modernized" for Modern Warfare III. More than a dozen new 6v6 maps will come to Modern Warfare III over the game's live-service campaign later on. A new mode is coming to Modern Warfare III in the form of Cutthroat. This is a 3v3v3 mode, but that's all Activision had to say for now. While players are only getting updated MW2 maps at launch for core multiplayer, there will be four brand-new large-scale Battle Maps for the Ground War and Invasion modes. For Zombies, Modern Warfare III is offering the largest map ever. Treyarch, the team that created Zombies in the first place, is developing Zombies for Modern Warfare III. The narrative will tell an "unearthly Dark Aether story" that takes place in the Modern Warfare universe. As usual, there will be secrets to discover, Activision said.

Meh, they only just started getting MW2 fixed. And most of the new weapons they're adding each season were in MW19. This season one of the "new" weapons is the FAMAS, which was in MW19 day 1. It would be one thing if the game was essentially the same with new maps/guns, but this is like paying for them to remove content and then re-add it right before releasing yet another new game that also removes content that was just added.

They should've done the 3 year cycle again and did the WWII/whatever themed games instead.

I’ll be buying it day 1 for sure ( like I have for ages ) but didn’t these sons of bitches say that MW was gonna have a 2 year+ life without any other COD’s releasing ?

He says that with every CoD, guarantee he still pre-orders it.
I do?

I have not pre-ordered a game ever, because I wait until a game is out and being played before giving a company my money unlike most suckers these days who like to be alpha testers for a game pre-ordering it.

The last CoD a friend bought for me to play together, and I have not installed it since getting sniped across the map literally from a pistol got tiring real fast.

yay I cant wait for the next installment of "call of overpaying to have everyone spawn directly behind me in every match"

They should change the name of the game to keep up with the times Call your Mommy...

Played the open beta. Unless the beta is holding assets back, it looks, sounds and plays worse than MW19/22.

First and foremost are the graphics. Maybe there are some settings to play with but texture quality and lighting seems washed out. Maybe maps are less weathered intentionally, but I took a screen shot of Rust and compared it to some screen shots I had from MW19. MW19 looks more detailed. There seems to be less gun smoke and it behaves less realistically.

Sounds are... not that good. The guns don't sound as realistic either. Seems like a step back in audio design.

There is less visual recoil and it makes the guns feel like something from an older game, a decade or so ago. Which just feels unsatisfying.

Gameplay seems to have been made even more casual friendly. You can slide, and while sliding spin around 360 degrees with ease. What is the point of sliding if you can turn around? How is that different from running? There is also reload cancelling now. Seems like they gave in to people whining when they got killed because they reloaded or slid around a corner without checking. Either don't reload frequently, use sleight of hand, or carry a pistol as you can switch to those quickly.

Just look at the ground detail. That MW19 screen shot is from a compressed video as well.

I don't totally regret preordering this game once again, but as posted above the graphics aren't the greatest. I find older versions more detailed as well.

I am enjoying the game and for me it is a solid pre-order. I know I will get my money's worth. The new high rise map alone is dope af. Or maybe it is a repeat map? I forget but definitely feels familiar yet different.

I haven’t preordered it myself but I like that they let you play the campaign early if you do. I’ve got a lot of time in MW2 2022, it’s really fun and runs awesome on my rig. I actually got an ultra wide monitor just for MW2.

I don't care for the arcade style of this one, at least from what I tried in the beta. I will probably pass on it.

Hi guys. I have an question. I pre purchase COD MW 3 . And i have already download in steam,60gb . This is preload of that early access campaign in 4 november or this is multi only?:
