I'm definitely ready for more and Borderlands has a good track record with DLC.

Looks pretty cool, and 12/19 is a good timeframe. If you wait too long, it's easy for people to move on and never return.

The best DLC was General Knoxx still haven't finished Borderlands 3. I didn't pick up the Dlx edition because it wasn't on Epic at the time. Looks a little glitzy but that is expected you know to show it off.

Only for BL1. The General was so well written and voice acted.

Overall best DLC for any Borderlands was Tiny Tina's AODK.

I was reading a thread about TT the other day was shocked to see everyone hated her. She's easily my fav character in the series. Sad to see people dissing her like that, but hey, there's no accounting for poor taste.

I was wondering if/when they were going to put out a "Moxxie's underdome" dlc. I thought it would be the Killavolt quest, but I guess not.

Side note: anyone else really tickled by the Quantum grenade? I read that they nerfed it in one of the first patches, but it still is pretty cool. I got a trainer for infinite grenades and went into one of the trials sub-quest and just spammed those grenades, nothing funnier that watching a cov kept up in the air by those grenades (hard to hit them when they are getting bounced around, unless you happen to be good at skeet). I can watch that all day, and have, almost. Well, I'm amused easily as I get older.

So there was apparently an Xbox and PlayStation free weekend for this. Why no PC? Lemme guess, lack of proper access controls on EGS? Wouldn't be able to cut us off after the deadline? Can you still buy, refund, and keep this on EGS? What a joke.

I love how Epic has closed all but their Unreal Tournament forum; this includes their Fortnite forum. I understand if you don't want to provide forums for third-party software, but not providing a forum for your own software indicates an issue.

Now that I've made it through Jedi Order I'm heading back to Borderlands. What's the deal with the new content they released this weekend? Is it akin to the Halloween stuff or is it something else?

considering fortnite is geared toward young teenagers do you really want there to be a forum? just read through the league of legends forums and you'll start to realize just how much of a headache that shit is to manage so i don't really blame them when you can probably get just as much useless crap err information through the subreddit and epic doesn't have to be responsible for any of it.

I'm honestly a little shocked the Steam forums are as good as they are. Either they employ some top-notch moderators or PC gaming is a more mature audience than you might think.
I can't tell you how many quick fixes and solutions to issues I've gotten from their forums. Hell, sometimes it's just nice to learn you aren't the only one with a particular problem.
Whatever Valve is doing to maintain those forums is the gold standard.

I tried the Maliwan Takedown mission solo and gave up pretty quickly. Everything is a bullet sponge of the highest order. While appropriate for groups of 3-4, it makes going solo a slog. I'm sure it's possible, but it's way out of my scope. I wish it scaled for the number of players.

If you haven't played the Heck Hole level since the latest patch, Haunt has become pretty tough. He isn't necessarily harder in terms of difficulty, but he can take way, way, way more damage. I used to be able to wipe him out in about 30 seconds. Now it takes that long just to plow through his first shield. You still have to remove his shield 3 times and there are still enemies that show up after the first round. His shields just take a ton more hits now. I bet I used Fade 5 different times to kill him on Mayhem 2. The rewards are no better, though.

For anyone else still playing, Pitchford has been tweeting key codes left and right lately. I've now got 10 keys for the launch of the DLC. By that point it'll likely be 15. The game keeps giving me 6 lousy shields every time I open the key chest, so I dunno if that matters, though.

This, I went in as level 49 and was greeted with level 51 bullet sponges. I noped out after crawling for 20 minutes and getting nowhere basically.

In general I'm noticing a change in difficulty. Things simply take more damage to kill. Not everything is harder, but random tougher enemies seem to absorb more shots and dish out more damage. I've been on Mayhem 2 for a while and am not sure if that's the culprit or what. I went through the Heck Hole again this morning and died for the first time in forever. The Haunt fight is a legit struggle now. He was a little too easy before. Now it's like his shield is 10x as strong as it was, and you have to deplete it 3 separate times.

So far? Mose, with Amara a close second. Fl4k's critters are a pita, they keep getting in the way when I'm trying to see what's on the ground, or coming at me.

The bank expansion is great, now you can keep a selection of things at various levels ( gold level 10, gold level 20, gold level 30, etc.), although it's really expensive to keep expanding it. I think it's a good decision on their part, now you can keep Lyuda's from DLC to DLC and character to character.

Seems like the Cistern of Slaughter is pretty abusable right now. I might have to give some of this stuff a try before it gets patched out. Feels like whenever I open anything I get nothing but shields and grenades...both of which I'm more than happy with. I want a legendary Dahl sniper and Jacobs pistols + shotguns that hold a decent number of rounds.

I want to like this game alot of it is just thrown together I won't pick up the DLC because the way this game is constructed is lots of detail and its not very immersive. It looks good in the screenshots but the game is throwaway to me the 1st area I was like wow this game is good but when I'm 36 hours in the game just feels like a plastic coating of it's former self. It doesn't even do Borderlands one justice because everything about this game is in your face explosions which just leaves you numb in the end.

I would of just extended the game where Boneyard Junction left off with Borderlands 1 instead of making a extension of Borderlands 2. The game has way too much eyecandy zero pacing and isn't very fun in the end because not much throught was put into the game it's pretty mindless getting the vault key fragments doesn't help anything. It's all about the guns and the graphics nothing else really. They should of went with more realistic graphics instead of making everything in the game pop out this way you could get more immersion and believablity. Just a Randy Pitchford magic slideshow

Is it me, or do they always demo with some chump on a controller that barely know how to play FPS games?

OK, so I am nuts or stupid? I cannot figure out how to navigate Sanctuary to the Handsome Casino. I accepted the mission from Moxxi and there is no Casino on the map on the bridge... Am I missing something?

Doesn't release until 19 Dec, so it pre-loaded a week early.

The most recent patch is making the gun graphics in my inventory screen load over and over and over again. PITA to mark guns as trash or favorite.

They added it a few weeks ago. It's designed for groups for sure. I'm sure it's possible to solo it, but it would be so tedious and challenging that a normal gamer would go nuts trying.

i tried.... I could eventually kill the bugs but nothing else :)

even with the bugs being 4 to 5 levels above me they sure were not dishing out any real XP to help me get my level up higher. Sitting at lvl45. I think my guns didn't overly help. I went through without really using elementals because they weren't needed....I think they may be now.
