I did get 2 master works from a legendary contract this afternoon.
Stupid shit servers are down.
Gives people more reason to just play Division 2 and get ready to dump Anthem.
Downloading Division2 now.
how long is it taking people to get to Lvl 30?...I'm still at Lvl 15 after around 6 days...are people just doing the main missions?...I'm spreading it out between main missions, Freeplay and those Fort Tarsis side missions?...should I be concentrating on the main missions until I get to Lvl 30 and then do the rest?...what Lvl are people at after finishing the Main Missions?
You can do quick play as well that gets you a good xp boost as well. It gives extra for helping out.
Main story lines were pretty good to do. Sometimes you run several strongholds (easy).
Check the jak the lucky table (daily, weekly and monhtly) complete those as well ...
You should finish up the main story around L20-22.
I'm at Lvl 15 and I just finished the Fortress of Dawn main mission...I think I'm doing too many FreePlay and side quests which is starting to feel very tedious and repetitive...I think I'm going to stick with the Main Missions from now on
Yup. FP and SQ stuff is literally the same shit....over....and.....over....and....over again.
Can't keep a stable connection for shit tonight. Just trying to finish the last few levels to 30. Get two contracts in, disconnect. Get to the end of a stronghold, disconnect. Did pick up 4 masterworks in about 3 hours though. They are my first.
Colossus ftw. Shield charge ALL THE THINGS.
Sometimes I wonder what is going on with the servers it seems that at their end something does not come through having seen many empty instances with the script not generating the next event or some of the disconnects without warning on simple stuff as walking the stairs up this is pretty poor for the gaming industry in this day and age...
The Angry Joe videos on YT (his review + the follow up) are worth watching but made me sad. I'm not even going to attempt to play this until it's patched up, it can sit on my hard drive and wait.
I can't believe they've been banning people over glitch abuses....I mean if the game was doing great etc...ya sure Ban away.....but with the current shit state the game is in...not..the..best..idea.
To add....especially banning people in a game that has no, none, zero PVP.....wtf are they thinking.
I didn't pay for the game, I paid 15 bucks for the origin access premier just to dink around with it and a few other titles on Origin. I'm glad I didn't pay for this game. The flying is dope, the gun play and ability use I find more enjoyable than Destiny 2's. But there is no real endgame (yet) and the game doesn't work half the time. Like when you go to launch bay but can't launch expeditions? Or when quest actions don't trigger so your group is just sitting there until you all quit. The server instability, the lag the list goes on and on. I'll play my month out, and probably revist at some time in the future. But with the Division 2 on the horizon I think my free time is spoken for. Had alot of fun with the first one, enjoyed the closed beta so...... yeah. Flying does make you feel like iron man though.
What kind of RAM usage you guys seeing? So far I'm seeing utilization of up to 13+GB of system RAM as reported by Afterburner, and about 5.1GB of vid RAM at 1440P ultra.
Been playing this my only gripe is that quick play does not function well .
If his issues are about loot you should ignore it ....
You mean people whom abuse the mechanics clearly not as intend should be rewarded for their persistence in doing so?
Unless you restrict flying PvP is not on the table.
7GB but only 4GB used or something from the windows resource monitor on 1080p.
You are missing the point. How can you justify banning people like that when the game is in as bad of shape as it is? And whether they have the best gear or not......and lets be honest I doubt they've got the best gear because the loot generation is garbage. It does not affect other plays in any way.
Has anyone found any legendary components? If so, which mode were you playing?
LOL got banned off the EA forums for commenting on threads about how messed up the game is.....jesus now I really hope this game burns to the ground.
Yep , GM1 legendary contract..
My issue is that the game is boring. I keep getting flashbacks to Destiny 1, only there's no deathmatch or vs. modes. The missions are basically all the same. Fly to X on map. Fight horde of enemies. Fly to next X on map. Kill more enemies. Repeat until "mission complete" appears on the screen. The stronghold missions are a little more exciting I guess, but there's still no variety. Free roaming doesn't offer much more than random items.
The game feels like they built a structure for how missions can work, but they forgot to actually make more than a couple. Instead they made 1-2 and just copy/pasted them until they had 30-40 missions.
It doesn't totally suck, but it's a C- game that could have been a solid B.
I got a legendary LMG yesterday playing a contract after I finished the single player campaign, I only play at hard mode till more difficult modes are available. That LMG is being used by Ranger and seems good.
Yeah games which more or less follow Diablo path suffer from variation so it will fill a void until you seen enough of it. The problems also arises that developers tend to want to keep the gameplay the same and change the ballance between the classes as where this game more or less is defined by roll.
This does make me think again about this game even if it is bland now it looks like those things will be added and make it a bit better.
This is the joke that Anthem has turned into:
lol, you must reaaaaaaaaaaaaally hate Anthem.
That's your response? I cheated, no one should care, screw you for caring? People spend time and energy on these games, they can care as much or as little as they want. I have zero problems with people getting banned in any multiplayer pve or pvp games for cheating/exploiting.
I dislike [insert game]. Here is [insert long video from some random dude full of hyperbole]. Oh internet.
Again go back in the thread, I was Pro...but as you work through the game you'd have to be a idiot to keep supporting these guys.
I'm close to the end of the Main Missions...I decided to play the Tyrant Mine Stronghold on Hard with a group...was really difficult...enemies track you no matter where you are, are crazy bullet sponges and they never seem to miss...I can imagine how hard the GrandMaster levels will be
You need the right tactics and they are done for pretty easily
If you don't have a member with lightning damage to single out those shielded scars you will have a very hard time. If you lack gear do a few on easy you with a bit of luck will get some quality upgrades.
When you are L30 you can get master work weapons that can do elemental damage that will work good vs shielded enemies.
I'm currently at Lvl 20 so I'm probably under-leveled for Strongholds and harder difficulty levels
Because its just totally one random unknown youtuber who thinks this game is half baked garbage. Try another straw man. Oh fanboys.
Anthem is not pvp, exploits aren't cheating, they are using unintended behavior of a game. Using an exploit in a pve game is not hurting other players.
The real reason they hate people promoting exploits is because it cuts their microtransaction revenue. Fuck microtransactions, and fuck publishers trying to milk full priced games with them. Everyone should use as many exploits as possible.
There is no micro transaction problem since there are no cosmetic drops in the game yet. You can not buy a single piece of gear that drops in Anthem.
So if you hate EA you can get away with everything?
The people that have been exploiting you will see leaving Anthem sooner since they have nothing left to do. They simply outpace the new content at a rate which makes no sense ..........
This is not specific to EA or Anthem. Exploits should not be a bannable offence. And if you think they only hurt themselves, why ban them? What does it matter to you?
Besides what makes no sense are aimless games that make you grind for the sake of grinding and random loot drops. There should be a goal in every game besides getting the next megasshat armor. And once that goal is reached games stop being interesting.

STANREY ROO would be proud.
How can there be no microtransaction problem when the game containts microtranscations?
You can buy cosmetics with real money or with coins earned from in game quests.
But none of the exploits have been around the methods of gaining coin just gaining gear.
So explain it for me please how can farming gear that you can not get any other way then playing this game have any kind of influence on the bottom line in selling cosmetic items ?
