Zorachus, how's the battery life on your 3VO?
Battery is SIGNIFICANTLY better than my EVO 4G, which had a custom kernel for better battery. My 3VO is still stock, and it is easily 50% better than the rooted 4G, which isn't saying much, the EVO 4G was the worst phone for battery life. But once the custom kernels are ready for rooted 3VO's, it will be night and day better battery life than the EVO 4G.
Galaxy S II, hands down.
I've been thinking about switching to Galaxy S a while back, when S2 came out - that was it.
It's simply a good product, on all accounts. We'll see if iPhone 5 can beat it...
Mango ftw. As a current Mango user, I'm curious what people find lacking about it or the WP7 platform that prevent them switching from iOS or Android.
Lack of apps.
If Apple has their way we'll never see the SGS2. It has Apple shaking in their boots it's that good. Apple is the only reason it hasn't been released in the US yet.
Samsung is making a lot of money from Apple. I doubt they would give their cash cow away like this.I wish Samsung would simply stop supplying Apple with all their NAND and watch them come begging. It would mean a loss in the short term but will at least make Apple compete instead of suing.

It won't happen in short term because there are contracts to me met, for the long run apple would have new suppliers. I'm sure apple have their asses covered, you don't fuck up with your vendor unless you have plan B.
When the vendor is making massive profits off your work and at the same time suing you every chance they get you stop supplying them.
Samsung can afford to take the hit.

Ive never used a Mango phone but I HATE the look of it. Id much rather a clean interface where I navigate to what I want (i.e. phonebook, dialer, apps) than have a bunch of tiles strewn all over my phone.
