Isn't the htc sensation BETTER than the EVO 3D???
No. They are pretty similar phones, but the 3VO has more memory/RAM, and bigger battery, plus the "3D". So the EVO-3D is the better device, but not by much.

I have the 3VO, and it is a much faster phone than my rooted custom EVO 4G, and once the big name ROM's come out for the 3VO, it will be a beast. Plus the development community on XDA is huge with the EVO's. The 3VO has all the major players baking up some custom goodies right now. September should see release of some bad ass Shit for the 3VO.

Zorachus, how's the battery life on your 3VO?
Battery is SIGNIFICANTLY better than my EVO 4G, which had a custom kernel for better battery. My 3VO is still stock, and it is easily 50% better than the rooted 4G, which isn't saying much, the EVO 4G was the worst phone for battery life. But once the custom kernels are ready for rooted 3VO's, it will be night and day better battery life than the EVO 4G.

Ad much as I like my 3VO a lot, I will most likely get there Galaxy S2 on Sprint next month. I am a sucker for that awesome Super AMOLED+ screen, and the razor thin lightweight form factor is a big deal to me.

Galaxy S II, hands down.
I've been thinking about switching to Galaxy S a while back, when S2 came out - that was it.
It's simply a good product, on all accounts. We'll see if iPhone 5 can beat it...
If Apple has their way we'll never see the SGS2. It has Apple shaking in their boots it's that good. Apple is the only reason it hasn't been released in the US yet.

Using an Evo 3d right now running the newest nightly from Synergy. Overclocked to 1.7ghz thing is freaking fast. As to battery life better then my old phone, the g2x.

Mango ftw. As a current Mango user, I'm curious what people find lacking about it or the WP7 platform that prevent them switching from iOS or Android.

Lack of apps.
And lack of customization. I was given a Focus as my "demo" model when I worked for AT&T, and I like the phone as an email/MP3 player. Just not a fan of it as far as apps and customization.

I wish Samsung would simply stop supplying Apple with all their NAND and watch them come begging. It would mean a loss in the short term but will at least make Apple compete instead of suing.

Samsung is making a lot of money from Apple. I doubt they would give their cash cow away like this.

Apparently now Apple is ditching LG and going with Samsung for their ipad displays. Seriously, I hate this stupid fake patent war, hopefully someone puts an end to it soon.

It won't happen in short term because there are contracts to me met, for the long run apple would have new suppliers. I'm sure apple have their asses covered, you don't fuck up with your vendor unless you have plan B.

When the vendor is making massive profits off your work and at the same time suing you every chance they get you stop supplying them.

Samsung can afford to take the hit.

This +1. Samsung is in a position right now where they could give Apple the finger. They have a solid product line and they can exist exclusively without Apple. Apple is going to need parts from Samsung still.

Ive never used a Mango phone but I HATE the look of it. Id much rather a clean interface where I navigate to what I want (i.e. phonebook, dialer, apps) than have a bunch of tiles strewn all over my phone.

I think the idea of windows phone has always been that having separate apps for phonebooks, dialers, facebook, sms, etc... is unnecessary. Really you just need a communication app that handles them all, hence tiles. But the applications are still available when necessary.

imo, windows phone has the cleanest UI of any device I've ever used. You could have absolutely nothing on the home screen if you want.. and open everything with the app list or via voice commands.

It's content centric, consistently fast and fluid and easily readable. It stays out of my way.

Never owned a Windows phone, but I could only imagine a Samsung Galaxy S2 style phone running Mango would be pretty bad ass  I would not be surprised to see something like that released from Samsung and Microsoft this Fall.

Us gadget geeks are in for a treat this fall, with some really solid products releasing, and each of them will be great in their own way;

- iPhone5
- Nexus-Prime
- Windows Mango

Can't go wrong with either of those, I am personally a fan of the Nexus series.
