I just hope they don't underpower the engineer class like they did on BC2. If my team was getting raped by a t90, I would have to switch to a kit with c4, sneak around, and blow his shit up. I am tired of having to use up to six cg's just to blow up a tank.![]()

Eh... I see the single player as icing on the cake.
Dear troll,
You have been here 7 months, you should probably /getfucked. Might I suggest the Crysis 2 demo for you instead of attempting to troll? You might have more fun, you will definitely make less enemies.
Signed,

I just watched that gameplay footage once again this morning.![]()
Another way of seeing it, that emphasis on a linear cinematic experience might take precedence over a raw realistic gameplay especially in terms of strategy. BC2 illustrated their move towards that in multiplayer through the "spawn on squad member" and maps that restrict movement to other areas until objective is completed. Had they put in place the Commander feature or at least a modified version of it, I wouldnt be concerned. As of now, we don't know much about multiplayer and the trailers that have been released so far are aimed at attracting COD gamers, whilst giving Activision something to worry about.
I watched this trailer about three times and I can't shake this feeling that it was all staged and pre-rendered... it's all just so fluid, the animations look so good, too good for a gameplay, I have never seen anything like it in a game, I mean this is some Pixar shit right there. I am still excited but I will be keeping my emotions in check until I see some real MP gameplay. Again, party pooper takes the better of me.
It says in-game footage.
It was obviously 100% scripted (well, most of it) but I'm pretty sure animation and such will look exactly like that at release.
We're in 2011, afterall.
You could spawn on squad members in BF2 ...
just sayin.

Ugh, god no. The COD base can stay right where it is, we don't need them guys scumming up our BF3 servers.
Can't wait to get this on release day for the 360.
it wouldnt be the first promo trailer using pre-rendered graphics and trying to pass it off as gameplay footageIt says in-game footage.

Yuck... watered down dx9 version.

I imagine him to be like the guy from Falling Down on release day if he gets the 360 version having watched this trailer

"Look at this sorry, miserable, squashed thing"
Warning: Don't believe everything you see on the Interwebs...
twitter.com/danielsneed: "RT @DICE_se: System requirements (minimum) #BF3 Windows Vista/7 C2D @ 2 Ghz Memory: 2 GB Video: 256 MB DirectX 10"
twitter.com/repi: "@DanielSneed that @dice_se account is fake"
Do believe this guy:
twitter.com/themobsoftware: "@repi You mentioned that the demo was powered by the GTX 580 card. SLI (2 or 3)? Debating on which GPU to settle on come fall."
twitter.com/repi: "@themobsoftware only 1 geforce 580 card"
But just because it looked good doesnt mean BF3 recommended specs would be outragous, probably the same as BC2 and crysis 1.
Dear troll,
On a topic remotely resembling the thread topic, how are the SP campaigns in the other BF games?
