I preordered on amazon, and have already done the preloading thru origina and register the game and the dog tags, but how do I know if I got the karkland map pack?

'Cause DICE/EA says you do. :) Seriously, I haven't gotten any kind of confirmation of the Karkand pack other than a promise in the original BF3 order.
 
I just preordered from amazon with the all the bonuses for 49.98 Downloading now. She is 10.2GB.

Tuesday cannot come quick enough
 
Hey guys, I bought an Amazon version for my friend who lives in EU and emailed him the key. Will he be able to play on the 25th?

I'm in Germany and bought through amazon and when I try to play BF3 and that activator thing comes up it says I will be able to play Oct 25th at 0900. So yes it should work for your friend.

heh, laugh all you want, but ive heard of dumber things working. and with EA, something like this wouldnt surprise me at all.

i remember being able to just close the cd key screen for dragon age, and still being able to install the game.
 
So does the return of the commo rose mean you will no longer be able to quick spot someone using Q? I kind of like that functionality - much easier to just hit Q in the head of the battle than trying to hit Q, then select Spot from a pop-up commo rose. Be nice if they had both.

Because they have contractual release date obligations to meet.

The back end also may not been fully ready and tested.

Why set release dates then?

Tuesday is the best day to release any kind of media, because from Tuesday to Tuesday offers a complete report of first week sales.
Big release DVDs, music CDs, video games etc. are all released on Tuesdays.

If the release date was on a Friday, today would be Tuesday. ;)
Either way, you're waiting.
 
anyone have trouble preloading with origin? I keep on getting a "unknown error has occured. please log out and try again" message.
 
Nope, I did it yesterday though.
Sidenote: I have battlefield 3 beta still listed in origin. I right clicked and did the uninstall option yesterday and that option is greyed out now. Is there any way to just get rid of it so it doesn't show up in origin?

Make sure you have been charged for it. I read on EA UK someone was having a similar issue, and couldn't download the game. Come to find out when the charge went through it was fine.
 
already charged for it. the preload keeps on quitting randomly. At one point it was 80% downloaded and it quit on me.

Well you can't cancel what's been canceled. So cancel your canceling of my already canceled pre-order.

But seriously, I haven't felt like this since HL2 was coming out, I have lost all interest in BC2 at this point.
