I doubt Ill buy this. Jets dont waork in this game, they are to fast for the small BF maps. 1942 was the best, those WW2 planes worked perfectly

Maps are larger and scale to the amount of players as well. Not an issue.

Well actually i never liked plains in BF hated how you control them i do like helicopters in BF-V it does look like in BF2 plains would be interesting to fly as there will be mistels that follow you so you have to do some tricks and shit
 
Demo is coming out this week. On fileshack.com you can sign up for a email notification when its released this week.
 
Demo will be released to sites like gamespot first so to download it you'll have to pay it wont be a problem couse demo should be out for every one in like 2 hours the problem could be is if they have CD key for the demo like they used to have for some games

I hope they'll have the demo on bittorrent too. I'm sure all the ftp servers are going to be swamped.
 
maybe not saying it right but i do remember they had some kind of demo with some protection that only subsribers could play it just saying it could happend :p

Oh I don't doubt that there are key protected demos. It's just the whole thought of it is funny to me. I mean isn't the purpose of the demo to attract people to play it and then buy the game. The "exclusivity cd key" takes away from that.

Hey, when the commander calls for artillery, the guy in a video said "everything dies" ... I wonder if he also meant aircraft as well. A low flying helo i can understand... but a jet?

I loved the BF1942 planes :D so slow, so unmaneuverable, and so easy to get your opponents to stall their planes. Plus, having a bomber gunner watching your 6 meant you never got shot down.

DC planes were fun too and you could -always- tell who was using a mouse/KB to fly. I could kill those without using a round of ammo. Get em on your six, fly under a bridge, watch them crash into bridge/water because they couldn't pull up in time :D

I personally couldn't stand the choppers in BF:V. They were like flying bricks. Easy to keep in the air, but they just didn't move. I loved the DC choppers though. Nothing like flying through a barn or hiding under a bridge :D Or dueling an F-16 in a hind :D Or spending all day just transporting troops in Lost Village.

BF2 looks cool and I hope the choppers don't fly like in BF:V. They -look- like they fly like they do in DC, only because the videos on the net showing people flying choppers show them crashing after 10-15 seconds of air time. The jets look sweet though, dog fights should be a lot of fun.

Chaff, flare, crank up the tunes, turn into the missile and jink like mad!

Yes I hated how the the low flat land areas handled in BF? :rolleyes:

Just FYI, the top competitive clans use mouse and keyboard for everything. ;)
 
hrm may be it's just me but choppers in BF:V were damn good it was such a joy flying them around making your little tricks i wish they would make same chopper movment as they were in BF:V . I did hear in totalbf2.com that they will be same

it may be funny, but its true. fileplanet has done this for previous exclusive demos, such as swat4 and chaos theory demos.

I broke down... I was at BB today bought the pre order and it had a free headset in the box. I can't wait, first BF game for me, i have been meaning to pick one up but never got around to it.

I was just giving another example of an exclusive Demo with a CD key. I actually tried the last beta demo & thought it was an enormous pile of dung.
