Battlefield 2 ?

For any of you that didnt attend the Gamespy Arcade Dev Chat, heres some demo news.

I kind of hope it is delayed until Monday. My mom is visiting and I wont be able to play anyway.

"That crowd" frequently tends to be the people who play whatever the latest game with the best graphics is. When a new game is released they change games. The people who stick with one game for a long time usually don't screw around as much.

Additionally, every game is going to have its share of morons. You'll also get to look forward to the "I'm too cool for CS" crowd, which is usually comprised of casual gamers prone to doing stupid things like playing MP3s over the voice comm.

Will my comp specs hold up in this game? I have never had a game I was not able to run on all high-very high settings. I'm afraid I'll have to run this one on all mediums. :rolleyes:

If you have sigs disabled I have:

2.8 GHz P4 (used to OC it to 3.4 but it shut down a couple times in HL2)
1Gig PC3200 Corsair (I think)
Radeon 9800 pro

The only thing I'd upgrade is your vid card- you don't really need to but if you got "upgrade fever" I'd start there :)
 
Yea, seems like it's next week now....grrrr....oh well back to doom 3. heh.
 
Kudos to EA for building this up.

It seems hyped, not hyped like doom 3, but I still can't wait.

They should start selling crack next, or maybe start with a multivitamin for gamers and work their way up to crack.
 
Where are torrents of this going to be hosted? How long after the release will they be up?

Posted 7:51PM BST which is 2:51 EST, hopefully the demo will be out any minute now.

well it was said that demo will come out this week people was sure it'll come out on friday couse it was usual date when they release demos so i guess those guessers were wrong but the day isn't over yet :)
