Finally understand this game the first time I played I took the wrong route I should of went straight to the Mine area. Playing on Sightseeing mode which can still give you a run died a few times to fish and getting shot. My game was crashes like crazy though maybe 12 cold shutdowns of my PC using a controller evertime it was when I clicked a button or someting. When I had to Map open my PC would ramp up really high either the CPU or GPU fans. So what I did was disable my settings down to 90FPS I played for about a hour and a half no crashes. I disabled all overlays though Steam Nvidia and Xbox apps. It's working good except I'm playing at 90FPS 120 is the Default. I got to the Interchange a very confusing place. I'm enjoying this game more so than any Fallout game I played Except for Dead Money DLC.

Screenshot of a Lunchbox I found with the Metal Detector.

Update: updating my Bios on my Z790 see how that works out

What happens at the Interchange Stays at the Interchange you will be confused as hell.

Interchange activated that was alot work =) I had to look up on Youtube where the scanner was in the world to activate this thing.
If you do the DLCs you don't want to go past this part and destroy him otherwise the DLCs won't be accessible. I had to play at 1080P w/ Vsync enable 60fps otherwise my PC would totally shut down. It happened to me like 8-10 times I searched the forums on Steam someone said this works. I almost gave the game up due the crashing but the game was too good.

I put on old Alder Lake 12700K chip in the game runs flawless now. Much lower temps and no ramping of the CPU when the Map is open played for about 2 hours without a crash I did get a freeze but was fixed turing off Reverb in sound settings. I think my 13700K chip is flawed now either from the older Bios I ran for a few years or all the crashes it had to endure I think it was the BIOS and temps that did the chip in.

Finally stated the island DLC no Island boys to be found this guy wants me to meet him at his hideout which isn't very far.

That sweet steam sale made it worth it. Enjoying it so far. Definitely respect their approach at limiting inventory space so you can't be a one man armada. It also plays well w Xbox controller especially w the aim assist, which i appreciate. The story is also pretty interesting so far. Really good British scifi vibes.

I picked it up too. Only about an hour in but enjoying so far. Not sure about the enemy AI though.

I'm finding stealth difficult. Probably bc i haven't unlocked the quiet footsteps skill
Very much liking the game

Stealth hasn’t been working out all that well for me either. Enemies are often just too tightly grouped together and they tend to turn around a lot. I haven’t spent any points yet after about 3 hours of play time, I only have 6 and the upgrades are expensive.

Also the rats/bats/swarms can fuck right off. So annoying.

I did something to piss off the protocol guys and the whole village of Whyndam is hostile now. Sucks because I didn't complete any of those quests, and also meant I was basically forced to take out all of them in Skethermoor. Oh well, hopefully I enjoy it enough for another playthrough. I already wish I bought the deluxe edition because I definitely want to play the DLC content. I hate how it costs so much more to upgrade.

Im on their good side, for now at least. On my way to interrogate that scientist they have under lockdown

Try to keep it that way, otherwise you’ll be locked out of certain quests and endings.

I silently took one down in the village to enter a trespassing area but I don’t think that did it as I spent some more time there without issue. I never even found Captain Sims at the time though. Later there was a group of them in the forest that turned hostile and I took them out noisily, guessing that’s what did it. Would sure be nice if there was a way to restore your reputation.

I typically try and go the “good” route on my first run and then murder everything the second lol. Looks like I’m on my murder run. May just speed through it so I can be more thorough with what I’ve learned for the next one.

Game is definitely exceeding my expectations. It looks and runs great and is pretty unique.

Im loving it now
Im on the island exploring a large druid cave
I really like how they've done the quest system. It makes you think more than the quest systems in most other games

It’s wild to me the bow and arrow is the deadliest weapon.. I thought it was lame as hell.

I've been eyeing this for awhile. Is it worth picking up the deluxe/complete edition, or just the base game?

Should’ve said more about this in that reply..

The DLC in this game fits right in, it doesn’t feel like a side project at all, and the content is awesome.

Too often I feel like DLC’s are afterthoughts that don’t blend well with the base game, that is 100% not the case here.

This game + all content can be bought for cheap often. Anyone that’s ever been halfway into a Fallout-ish like experience (though it’s identity is its own) should be all over this game, it’s damn good.

Its also a good game for fans of STALKER, Far Cry, Deus Ex, Prey, and all kinds of other emergent gameplay/exploration type first person shooters. I was also very impressed by the open ended way in which it handled quests and quests completion. In a way , it's kind of a detective game and not like the shooters that guide you on rails to complete the objectives ,.

IMO one of the better games released last year though admittedly I haven't played a lot of recent games
