ATi = most stable drivers

Now, about this "indepent study". It was a very STUPID mistake of the people at ATi to do this. Why? Because it comes off as a lie, and you set yourself up looking like the only way you can make people think your drivers are better is by paying some site to post it. Terrible idea. Internal tests can never be shown. Let word of mouth get you a good name out, not paying some site do it.

Well I think that this kind of thing just shouldn't be targeted at hardware sites...we'll make up our own opinions about stability...this kind of testing is aimed at OEMs and investors who eat that kind of thing up...

And I guess stability is in the eye of the beholder...I see ATi cards and drivers fail every other day at work...and I've had my fair share of problem with their drivers for quite some time...

Not only that...but it's a 3 year old architecture for crying out loud...it better be stable...

ATI has had more stable drivers than Nvidia for over 2 years now... Of course that's like saying that Death Valley has been hotter than Al' Aziziyah for the last 2 years.... It may be, but I don't think anyone is going to give a fuck when both are averaging over 115 degrees!
