I wonder if the G-Sync module is located somewhere behind the cloud?
It doesn't bother me. The camera also tends to bring out glow much more than what my eyes see. (for both monitors)
I highly doubt its got anything to do with the GSync module, in fact if it is where I think it is then its nowhere near. It looks like just fitting is the cause as some are worse than others. Even perfect ones, there is still a tiny, tiny amount of light you can see coming from this area but its so small its not even an issue. It has been noted in some reviews and TFT central did mention that uniformity was not brilliant when measured (from eye it was hard to tell). It sucks some people have had a couple of bad ones as its a brilliant monitor when it works like it should however take it all with a pinch of salt. Plenty of these monitors around that don't have any issues. If they do crop up then Asus have you covered, and if they give you a hard time well.. post their CEO a box of dog shit.
