Dude is American English slang I am British, I will not change what I write and this thread is not a debate on language. Only Odyssey game thank you.dude, you gotta proof read your posts, its real hard to make sense of the stuff you put on here.
There are three main story threads in the game, you can see a summary on the far right side of your screen on the quest menu. It's called Your Odyssey or something like that. If you don't see 3 separate icons then that means you haven't started them yet.
I think technically the Family questline is the actual "main campaign" though.
Actually the game gets easier as you level up, not harder. The levelling system is complete bullshit in the game, it is pointless. Apart from preventing you from exploring into higher level areas, or doing quests that are marked higher level. I agree that they should have used something similar to skyrim or fallout. I put over 50 hours into the game, and there are still areas on the map I can't venture into because of my level.I wouldn't mind the lvl system if everything scaled to your level, up and down. Content gating only makes sense if higher lvl content is actually HARDER thus preventing a noob player from getting in over his head. In ACOD there is no difference between a level 1 enemy and a level 50 enemy. The gating is totally arbitrary. XP scaling is impossible to balance for everyone which is why a game like this needs the Skyrim approach to leveling. That way you can do whatever you want, wherever you want, and you won't feel held back.
If Ubisoft made an AC game with a procedurally generated map and infinite randomizerd ? marks to clear I would probably play it until I died. I could stealth clear enemy camps/forts forever. I will finish ACOD and still want more.
Also as far as story content goees, Euboea was the best. And it was an independent island totally detached from the main campaign. I also heard good things about Delos but I didn't like it as much.
Yup. 47 hours in and I've only cleared a few areas. Exploration seems a lot better than Origins, but the numerous side quests are a bit overkill. Still enjoying it though.man this game is HUGE....
like22 hours in, thought I was done in Phokis (sp?) only to realize there was an entire section of it I didn't even explore. I'm supposed to be going to Andros.
Pro-tip: Ignore hourglass quests, and any quest on the bounty board with a range indicator on it. Except the daily/weekly orchi quests... Do those.
why?
why?
Because they're the library definition of "fetch quests". The MMO style "kill x number of Z type of enemy" It has no narrative, they're just randomly generated quests with a canned dialogue. There are hundreds of regular side quests in the game, with proper narrative and dialogue, there is absolutely no need to waste time with the random generated filler content, unless you plan on spending hundreds of hours with a single playtrough.why?
I basically come in to an area, take everything off the bounty board, hit everything on the map, and as I play and I get along...things just get done. Exclamation points are first priority when I see them and then I just work out from there.

That's welcome. I'm like level 45 and still using gear that is lvl 29. The cost of upgrades are monumental. And when the gap opens up like that there is not even an option to upgrade the gear only as many levels as your resources allow it. I wish they just removed the entire gear levelling from the game. It's a stupid distraction, nothing else. The costs to upgrade Gear items has been decreased.
