I think both Man 1.0 and Woman 1.0 (along with any/all versions of Girlfriend/Fiancee/Wife) are imperfect programs. While Man 1.0 occasionally downgrades to Boy or Teenager, Wife 1.0 spawns a process called Emotions 8.3 (well developed, this one is) that occasionally, usually randomly, without any apparently erroneous input, will suddenly hog all resources for a time, forcing you to stop any work you were previously doing. Until Emotions decides to return to running in the background, any attempt at input has devastating results.
Well Emotions 8.3 only reacts when Jerk 2.5 starts to run on Man 1.0. Get that under control and Emotions 8.3 will lead to more Borging and less crashing.

OR... when AdvancedPMS virus 2.1 runs...

that doesnt run on every instance of Woman 1.0. Sometimes even that leads to more Borging.

im on the beta test team for this program so i know.

I think thats the very limited closed beta program from what i have heard :D

For Man 1.0 to run ou must run Boy 3.5 in background. Sometimes Boy 3.5 can take priority sometimes.

Actually, I find it's a lot more like Windows 3.1. Man is there in the foreground, but when something unexpected happens, you're stuck with Boy. And then you have to reboot before you can get back to the more advanced interface.

Women are more like Windows NT. They're generally more stable, but when they crash the whole network goes down at once. And there's a bug that causes crashes every 28 days or so

Man, you guys got this thread all wrong. Many of these programs your giving a version number, when in reality they should be ending in letters. Half these things arent programs...there viruses...

Woman 1.0 got infected with PMS.y the other day....it was a pain in the ass to get off :D ;)

Ah, actually, I think the problem lies in the fact that the Inter-Process Communication(IPC) protocol between Man 1.0 and Woman 1.0 is very poorly documented. At the very least, it would seem that the creator(s) of Man and Woman niglected to code each in compliance with a common standard. Add to this the fact that the results of passing a given input into any function of Woman 1.0 are often based entirely upon the current state of Woman 1.0, and Man 1.0 suddenly has a very difficult time communicating with Woman 1.0. Of course, certain inputs will almost invariably lead Woman 1.0 to detect that Man 1.0 has degraded into Jerk 2.5. However, there are also many inputs which at some times will cause Woman 1.0 to reclassify Man as Jerk, but which at other times will reclassify Man as Superhero 2.3.

Well, the least we can do is add a patch to each program so each can communicate on the other's standard...

Well Jerk 2.5 runs more often than you thing. It constantly logs things within the brain of the program but sometimes the program log gets to large and Jerk 2.5 takes over the entire interface of Man 1.0. As far as Woman 1.0 being infected with PMS.y, there are ways around this but Man 1.0 should take the time to talk to the OBGYN of Woman 1.0 to find out the best way to handle this. Man 1.0 can operate find with Woman 1.0 during this infection as long as he does not let Jerk 2.5 overload. At this time, most of the time, Woman 1.0 is overclocking and needs all the attention from the CPU that can be given but this virus is short lived and doable. There are fixes for the virus called Pregnancy 9.0 that fixes this virus for 9 months. There is also BirthControl 1.0 that may cause this problem to go away if you can maintain a monthly to quarterly security update depending on the interface of Birth Control 1.0. Again, you must consult the OBGYN of Woman 1.0 to determine these changes.

Man 1.0 can run fine with Woman 1.0 if they have certain compatibilties. Like mine used to be Computers 1.7 and Gaming 3000. With those two programs running with Man 1.0 and Woman 1.0, Borging 3000 was activated regularly and both programs ran smoothly. Man 1.0 upgraded to Boyfriend 1.0 but the problem came when Woman 1.0 was not upgraded. HUGE incompatibility issue. So now the system crashed and I wiped my [H]ard Drive and installed Jerk 3.5 with Male Aquiantance 2.3.

Unfortunately, the hardware is proprietary, locked-down, and expensive. I had an evaluation unit a while ago, but was unable to decrypt any of its functionality. Then the unit malfunctioned and went out with some jerk. Just as well, I suppose; it'd take some fairly extensive lab work to figure out any of the protocols, and I don't have the time or the energy.

The obvious joke at this point would be a comment about an "open source solution" which I've since discovered, but I'll hold off on that. Moose?

Good idea. :)

Dunno about open source, but in Las Vegas, they give out trials like theirs no tomorrow. Unfortunately they do cost some money for the trial version. :(

well you might need to come to ATL. with the shortage of Straight Man 1.0, there are a lot of free trials.
