i think the silver looks better than the black. kinda looks like a mini fridge.

If I didn't purchase my Lanboy, this would definately be my case.

I can't get over how good looking this case is...
 
I preordered one right after I saw the SPCR article on it. Now to figure out how to get rid of this P160... :D
 
You know, I'm all about supporting SPCR...but I think that I am still leaning towards the silver finish-- it's just so....so....class :cool:

LOL read the first page, where it said the P180 would be out in february, and skipped to the last post, and it says it will be out end of june :D

It looks like endpcnoise.com has the SPCR edition P180 listed on their site now.

It would be nice if NCIX had the SPCR edition case. I would actually save $30 if they did. It's $179 CDN at NCIX if you guys want the silver one btw.

I believe in one of the more recent links posted to the spcr site where the guy talks about it, he said that endpcnoise(USA) and some other shop for Canada would be the only ones with the SPCR edition until like January. Or something to that effect.....too lazy to go find which link it was and re-read.... (^_^)

That "some other shop" would be FrontierPC based in Vancouver. That's the place I ordered from.
 
Thought I'd post the LINK to the SPCR version (black) of the case that has just gone up for pre-order from IceWind's post in this thread, too :)
 
Looks as though some of the sites that have the P180 listed when Froogled show that they will have it this week or next. :eek:
 
Well, I can't wait any frigin longer!! :eek: Techonweb.com showed stock @ 115.00 so I ordered one. They have a good rating at Resellerratings so I figured what the hell. Newegg doesn't even have a listing for it yet. Sometime NE seems to be a bit slow on getting the new stuff in my opinion. Anyway I'll report if I get it. :(
 
$115? Are they missing some components or something? I expected the case to be at least $50 more. heh...
 
So whats diffrent about the SPCR version of the case?

Other then it being black and having SPCR on the case itself. :confused:

wow the price at techonweb is down to 108, 22 on the shipping though so that puts it to 130 total...but still I was also expecting the price to be around 160, this is a pleasant surprise.

strange how many of these less well known places are getting them over the larger ones that we are more familiar with.
 
meh, if they've got pretty good resellerratings and such, I'd say they're probably not doing anything fishy. They might just have better relations with Antec or something.
 
I don't think my dual Opterons and a K8WE motherboard will fit inside the Antec P180. Its relatively nice otherwise. Just doesn't seem practical for "big" components.
 
I'm thinking places like say Newegg probably order a kashit load and maybe just don't want to mess with small orders. Just a thought. Anyone else here get one from TechonWeb?
 
I decided to order one from them. I recieved an order number and on the status page it says "shipped" but I have no tracking information. heh.... It probably won't ship 'till tomorrow though.

A) their price is %70 of the widely expected street price; and

B) as mentioned above-- the time conflicts with all previous announcements; and

C) no "well-known" vendors are showing stock.


Not being a naysayer here---but I think I'll wait to see whether or not you guys get the real thing, or a "mislabeled" P160 (or worse, something completely unrelated....)
 
I bought my samsung 1200nf from techonweb about three years ago(the monitor was also lower priced than most of their competitors too coincidentally), they had good ratings back then too, so I would doubt its a scam job from them since they still have good resellerratings. I think I'm gonna take the plunge with them since its so much cheaper than elsewhere. I can wait for a bit till they get it back in stock.

Well, I thought about all of these as well. But, hey who's to say they didn't get a few in as Antec starts shipping a few here and there to wet everyones appetite. I don't pretend to know how the supply and demand channel works, but I think it's on the up and up. I certainly hope so. I'm usually very cautious and picky about who I order from. Mainly Newegg. I had a bad experience with Axiontech once and that was it.
