This was caused by the same guy that tried to make a Pentium D launch price the same as a x2 launch Price, and tried to say Opeterons of the x2 gen were less then 2k at launch? Just go two pages back. So a person that can't read marketshare figures is just going to sit here and post all he wants and you guys expect others not call him out?

I don't see you guys calling him out, its either me or a few others! Why don't you guys call him out?

I can understand if his comments were so off base its a waste of your time not to, but that isn't the high road when happens time and time again, he only has less than 100 posts here, you can go back in his post history and see all of his posts are in a similar manner, just made up shit because he doesn't know what he is posting about.

The guy is making shit up every where he goes. Its not even one person knowing more then another, one guy is fuckin making shit up and what the hand full of people that call him out on his crap are the ones that mods talk to because you have BS sympathizers and tolerance for crap.

Like the post above you. Don't call it out just lock the thread better right?

this happens all over the place and has gotten worse over the last year. tell him hes wrong, provide a bit of proof and call it a day. if he continues physically ignore him(I hate the ignore list). twisting obiwan's words but; who's more foolish? the fool or the fool who argues with him?

That is why I stopped responding to him cause its not worth the time to and told him to look up his own material.

But there is no reason to lock the thread cause that is over.

I understand that, if everyone ignores and doesn't respond to what is incorrect and that guy keeps going, then there is an abundant amount of misinformation so that doesn't help either, just wonder where this guy got his info from? Must of read it from somewhere, but obviously it was way off the mark so? Most likely he got it from another forum or read some PR or tit sucking article that shaped his views. Actually the moment he stated % changes instead of % I knew what article he read it was WTFtech by the AMD pro author, who stated Polaris was going to crush Pascal. I didn't bring that into the conversation because it was moot.
 
Intel's response to Ryzen is like it's fine let's just duct tape 2 threads on these same 2 shitty Pentium cores and call it a day give them their one year of success and then we can continue being a monopoly for another 10 years again without dealing with monopoly lawsuits.
 
Even if the chips/BOM did cost them just $20 to produce (which is a pipe dream) that doesn't take into account all of the R&D, testing, marketing etc. that goes into bringing the chip from Jim Keller & Co's brain to packaged product waiting to be sold on retailers shelves.

That would be almost like saying video games only cost $5 to produce because that's what it costs for the media it is on and it's packaging....
