I'm about ready to water cool my RyZen and hope it doesn't rip anything out! Lol

If you are going to be removing the block/heatsink, release the hold down mechanism for the cooler (screws or whatever else) then while holding downward pressure on the cooler, rotate it 90* if possible, and back and forth in order to break the bond to the cpu via thermal paste.
