They took off the 144 since it was probably out of stock. Would you be very happy, if you ordered it and had to wait extra long for it?

You should be happy they issue us coupons, that bring the price down way below of online retailers.
 
You can always tell when the coupon codes expire - it's when everyone comes outta the
woodwork whining about it.

well... I put in for my second 165 and third processor total. Sadly it will probably be my last :( As always, I hope everyone posts their steppings when they arrive and I will do the same...


BTW: Does anyone have some good spells or something to keep the dreaded 0607's away...

Currently people are getting good steppings. Its really the luck of the draw, unless you want to pay a premium.

I had friends buy them. I don't know if thats fair....sorry if its not. =( At first I was actually planning on using all 3, but when I saw how much the CCBBE 610s were going for on eBay I couldn't resist.

How do you know what chip you're getting???
 
He says it was a bad clocker b/c it could be the IHS... I have a feeling that that's the case with my chip. Most of these 0609 were hitting 2.8-2.9ghz stable at 1.4-1.5v, right? Well, mine does 100-200mhz less at 1.5v, and this is a a Storm waterblock with bix2 rad and two 152cfm deltas... :(

its ok my 0610 needs 1.525. for 2.9. but i really havent tested it lately. maybe it can go lower now that ive had it for almost a week.

Not sure if someone posted this before but I think you can "guess" each weeks' codes by the first 5 numbers. Take a close look and you'll realize those are dates. I think those are the only ones that change. So this Friday, or Saturday, whenver they change it, the new codes should start with 51706. The number after the dash should be left as is.
 
You can make any monarch coupon not expire. All you have to do is change the first string to 51206. (5/12/05) :)
