Yes, I know, I prefer it.Here is firestrikeYou keep referring to it as ATI, you know AMD bought them in 2006 right?
The AMD Radeon RX 480 was released on June 29th 2016.... Ati doesn't have anything to do with the drivers. It should do better than the 1050, it was more equivalent to a 1060. Solid card for it's day
I second this, and the ATI moniker was dropped in 2010 with the HD 6000 series and officially changed to the AMD moniker that same year. You keep referring to it as ATI, you know AMD bought them in 2006 right?

Paired rx 480 8gb with 5600x cpu, now the cooling is as it should be in the case.
This rx 480 pulls well, goes up to 162W only the gpu (and that was measured in heaven benchmark).

my 9060xt is 160w...
i HOPE hes just playing around.
I'm not kidding, it really uses that much in hwinfo. The card has 1x6pin, draws 80w from the pcie slot and 80w from the cable. I had an rx 480 right when it came out, then sold it later. I bought this new not so long ago, it's a great replacement for my rtx 4070super because I don't game. The GPU is a classic blower and the heat from the card goes out of the case.that's a lot of power consumption for nowadays standards and that level of performance.. not a really good performance as even entry level gpus outperform greatly..
may I ask why u picked that RX 480? what's the purpose? if gaming is the usage then the performance won't be really good on modern titles.
A PCI-e slot will max out at 75w and a 6 pin GPU power cable also maxes out at 75w. If you're pulling more than 150w there is something wrong and it's not good. I wouldn't even want it pulling that much since it's right at the line. At stock my RX570 is 135w and even when overclocking I never let the max power target go above 145w and usually not even that. At this point I just run it at stock speeds but limit it to 110w as it has only a tiny drop in performance.I'm not kidding, it really uses that much in hwinfo. I haven't used amd graphics for a long time, is it possible to fix it in amd drivers? In my opinion, you don't need to touch anything because the card itself has protection in it. When I bought the rx 480 for the first time, it also consumed electricity at the limit of 150w. Let's call them a small pain.I think it's normal to draw up to 160W.A PCI-e slot will max out at 75w and a 6 pin GPU power cable also maxes out at 75w. Do new AMD cards still have ASIC quality percentage in GPU-z?my 9060xt is 160w...
