I have heard nothing but good things about this card. I have been an ATI/AMD fanboy for some time. I made the mistake wasting my money on a high end Nvidia card that has been nothing but trouble. I will be going back to an AMD flagship as soon as I can. Hopefully sooner than later.
I've had AMD GPU's since the 4800 series came out. Since then, I've always enjoyed the benefits of having a great performing video card, that utilizes low power, and gently hits my wallet. I currently have two 6970s in Crossfire and love being able to maximize the graphics of every game I play. Here's hoping I win!
what i like about AMD's latest GPU's is that they run all my games extremely well and they overclock like crazy! been nothing but happy with my 7970.
i also like that when i bought my 7970 back in January i told my wife how excited i was for my new video card. she responded "oh, is that something you download?" we can't all be computer geeks. she's a a geek in her own way, just not when it comes to PC's and gaming.
would love this bundle to try out Crossfire for the first time!
I have a LAN for gaming at home. I'm using 4X 7970 Quad-Fire at 7680X1600 on one computer, and 2X 7970 Crossfire on 2 other computers at home, both at 5940X1200. And a single 7970 on the 4th computer.
Would go Tri-Fire on that one if I would won this bundle.
7970 are faster, cheaper, come with better bundle, and has better bandwitdh then any Nvidia cards on the market right now. The 7970 is leaving the 680 in the dust with latest drivers.
i love the new AMD gpus because of all of the CUDA operations you can perform on it. its very efficient for password cracking, thousands of times better than just using your regular processor.
The value of current AMD GPUs is simply unbeatable. With the Never Settle drivers, the 7970 is the king performer while costing less than the competition. It's simply Win/Win
The added bleeding edge AAA titles also add huge incentive.
Bang for buck, you just can't beat the AMD video cards. The "never settle" drivers are top notch, and overclocking headroom is pretty spectacular. Truly a winner on all fronts, with DX11 and the best-of-the-best visual quality.
Great card, don't need it....but may be getting one soon instead of crossfireing. The reason why it is very solid and can last me at least 2 years which is great.
Wow what a giveaway, 2 of the best cards out right now and 3 games to go with it! I currently have a 5770 and this would be one hell of an upgrade Far Cry 3 maxed would be amazing!
