Air Mouse Concept

I think after a few minutes I would be just too tempted to use it one more time as a batarang.

hmm, sounds exactly like the products you can already buy from Gyration right now.

I couldn't use that product just based off of their advertising image....

I'm liking the Batman ideas.

Next thing you know, there will be horror stories of people with this mouse half way into their monitors playing Arkham Asylum.

It might work if you could use it like an airbrush sort of for photoshop.. Other than that it would suck.

I think it looks great, and appears to be an interesting product. My only concern, is the comfort factor, and also will it be intuetive to use, or is it something I will have to get used to using. I hope we can see more of it soon.

I don't think I want to use a wand with my computer.

Cool idea... but I don't see how this could be more efficient than a good optical mouse.

But then I'm not a creative person. Show me the light, Microsoft.

lol

Nevertheless, Gyration is a proven brand of air mice and remotes. They've been around a while. It's popular among the HTPC crowd.

Personally I'd use this if I wanted an air mouse for my HTPC. That's also been around for several years.

Microsoft tends to be pretty good about input device ergonomics in my opinion, but this thing doesn't look very comfortable to use as a mouse. :/ I imagine it slipping backwards out of my hand, or overall just being a pain to pick up.

Don't let the Microsoft logo fool you. This is just a concept by an independent designer and will probably go as far as this "gem": Crystal to open doors.

Am I the only one who thinks it vaguely resembles a Star Trek com badge?

A bit of a challenge for them to overcome....only blondes will buy the air mouse.

:p

OMG Ace, you owe me a keyboard cleaning, I should know better than to drink coffee while reading these forums!!!
