Band of Brothers FTW!
Where was this? And was it televised?

[EDIT] I just read that Dick Winters died. That's terrible. RIP. :(

It was at Seattle's Museum of Flight, and while they recorded it for posterity, it wasn't televised.

Buck Compton lives "up the road a ways" in Mt. Vernon.

wow some of these shots are amazing!

Wish I had the patience and time to learn photography

Filmy. Nice grain.

I've never shot that film, but I've shot Kodak 800 and it's mad grainy.

Also, try some Ektar 100 - it looks a bit digital, but it's a beautiful film.

Will try Ektar 100...:) However, at ISO100, that's pretty much a good, sunny day film. I find the Kodak Ultramax 400 has very fine grain as well. Surprisingly less grainy than the cheaper Fuji Superia 400.

Some great shots already this year. PC_User that sky looks amazing, was there much post-processing on that sky? The transition of colors is incredible

Thanks. Not much post processing. Just slight curve adjustments in PS5.

Snow in Austin, TX.... apparently my photo has hit a lot of local media sites.

Myself testing my new webcam. Highest settings for picture quality and video recording at 720p..
Lifecam-5000.. Still rather buy a nice camcorder with income tax refund.

PC_User, I like the sunset shots .

Darktiger, great processing like always. You really brought out that wintry feeling.

Volume, shots 3 and 6 are excellent. Get them printed. You and your beagle look like you were having lots of fun out there.

I've finally made it out and about over the last week.
