I just EUEd on approx 75 Wus in a row on my sr2 rig due to testing smp -19. Is that going to screw up my eligibility for bonus points?

It depends on what you've submitted thus far for all your rigs under your username.

It's possible though if it took you below the 80% mark in regards to all your bonus based SMP work units.

If it sent back 75 partial results, yes.. you are going to be screwed.

is the 80% standard calculated over the entire history of my passkey?

If so, 75 might not put me under that limit.

I hope not.

I was under the impression it was, but I would go ask over in the Folding Forums to be sure...I really hope for the team's sake that isn't the case:(

Im gonna say no as it probably eue'd the same unite. hopefully

i wish. it's not the case

Dude, please stop testing we need [H]ard stability right now. :p

it might have actually been more than 75.......

I turned in 150 WUs last update

I think its for every SMP(bonus) workunit you've turned in under your passkey. If my math is right, that'd be 375.

Sorry wasn't clear, but 375 SMP work units. 20% of that(failures) would be the 75 WU that EUE'd on you.

If you've done more than 375 WU, you're probably ok. I'm guessing you've done quite a bit more than that.

Probably, with one bigadv rig and two or three smp rigs running.

However, if the number is closer to 150, my threshold to stay above 80% is closer to 750 WUs. That might be pushing it.

If I were you I'd run a few days with standard WUs just to keep my averages up even if I didn't drop below the 80% threshold. That's a ton EUEs man!

Yup, can't run -smp X with X as a prime number. That'll instant-EUE non-bigadv SMP units.

This is not true, and I am not exactly sure where it comes from. 2, 3 and 5 (and I believe 7) are primes, and work fine. 15 and 22 (and probably 21) are not primes and causes the same issue. So there is more to this mystery than just being or not being a prime number.

it works with 20.

i'm going to try 18 now, but I'm afraid

I'd stick to regular SMPs and monitor EOC to see if you are still getting the bonus, then go from there

Did Stanford ever clarify where the 80% comes from?

It still isn't a prime numbers thing. Ask jebo how well -smp 15 works....

Love how you are getting jerked around on FF jebo....
its par for the course over there

7im's PMS, Bruce's unwavering inflexibility. I usually just try to tread water long enough for Kasson to notice.

Judging by my stats so far I can't figure out if I'm getting bonus points or not.

I typed my passkey into the stats page at stanford.edu and it says i've turned in 1523 WUs under this passkey, so I have my fingers crossed that I'll be ok.

I'm going to drop a bigadv in about 12 hours, so I'll know for sure by then.
