5870 crossfire

With the rig in your sig or another? Need more information othar than 5870 x-fire really.

2 PCI E slots, and a 750W power supply depending on processor and the rest of your equipment. You might even get away with a good 650w unit.

i mean power supply wise

2x 5870
3 hard drives
2 optical drives
couple of front panel
video card

yes that is the one, i had it over 2 years i believe, sweet so i won't have to upgrade

i have a ocz gamex 700 watts
should i upgrade or it's adaquate?

Upgrade. That PSU is an adequate 500W PSU but not a very good 700W PSU due to out of spec ripple or voltage fluctuations that can harm your hardware. It's barely enough for your current system as it is now.

So you're looking at a 750W PSU minimum considering your OC'd Core i7 930. Safe bet would be a 850W PSU. Some recommendations:

Non-modular:
$118 - Antec Truepower New TP-750 750W PSU
$136 - Corsair 850TX 850W PSU
$146 - Corsair 950TX 950W PSU

Modular:
$142 - XFX Black Edition P1-750B-CAG9 750W Modular PSU
$150 - Corsair 750HX 750W Modular PSU
$156 - XFX XPS-850W-BES 850W Modular PSU

yea it doesn't power 2 of the 5870 on
only once
i guess i need another power supply
