I don't know that I'd take one comment as any kind of truth about them. It seems like any driver release some people claim it causes crashes, or performance slowdowns or whatever. I basically never see enough information to indicate that they did any root cause analysis and that it isn't a problem with something else in their system. I see a lot of "this driver is crashy" thing for versions that I use with no crashes. I'm on 581.57 on my desktop and laptop and while I haven't had time to play a ton of games lately, I haven't had any crashing issues.
 
It's another driver 🤷‍♂️. The last few have been good on my end. No issues for the last 4-5 months.
My only real complaint is that the damned Nvidia app icon keeps showing up (even if you unselect it) on the taskbar with the last 2 drivers. It's apparently a known issue, but apparently not urgent enough to warrant an immediate fix.

everything was closed including icue

Icue is junk, I had these crashes on several of my last nvidia driver updates. I just uninstalled icue now since it was only used for my keyboard lighting
 
I installed these new drivers and started getting intermittent black screens while I was playing BL4, the screen would just go black briefly and back to the game, so I went back to the 581.57.

How unusual. I played BL4 last evening for about 4 hours and it ran perfectly on my 5080.

The driver has been flawless so far since I installed it on release really.

It’s difficult to say for sure if the driver is at fault, but the issue did start after the installation of them. I’ll see what happens tonight.

I will update my 5070ti drivers to the 581.80 tonight and see if I have any issues with BL4.
 
Installed yesterday, no issues, still no iCUE crash as well. Arc Raiders, some indie titles, no complaints. 5090

I did the in place upgrade without removing settings and have played BL4 for the last 3 hours and zero issues so far. Glad to hear you got it all squared away.
 
Switched to the Studio Driver (even though I'm gaming) and haven't looked back. Am I a fool?
 
Ran DDU and then installed these drivers. All seems okay so far.

If I don't run Wagnard 3D Guru I get really weird sometimes scrolling in Google Chrome I'm not sure what the deal is.
Think it's driver related.
