I have a LG 55" 4K tv hooked to my quad 780 ti's the problem is when I set the resolution in windows to 3840*2160 it appears fine on desktop even shows 2160P on the tv but it is clearly not... if I goto whatismyscreenresolution.com it shows 1920x1080 it looks blurry and not scaled right at all... I have tried a handful of high dollar hdmi cables and it does not make a difference any ideas?

On a side note I hooked up a 32" tv set to 1920x1080 but was only scaling to 1280x720, I tried the same 32" tv on my laptop and it scaled fine to 1920x1080 which makes me think this is some nvidia issue

Try creating a custom resolution through the Nvidia control panel for 4k then try that. I have no problems running 3840x2160@30hz on my 4k Samsung.

Make sure you are using the HDMI port on you're video card. A DVI -> HDMI adapter won't work as the pixelclock needed for 4k @ 30hz is dual link on DVI but single link on HDMI which will result in half the video resolution being lost (1920x2160).

Might want to give the accell cables active DP 1.1 -> HDMI 1.4 adapter a try to get around any driver issues.

Is your TV hooked up to Ethernet for internet access? Is there a firmware update perhaps?
