Hey guys, is there any reputable online dealer that has the 4870 in stock right now? I just ordered from buy.com yesterday assuming they had them in stock ( there website at the time said they had them in stock) well it turns out that there not in stock, I was just wondering if I should cancel my order and go with someone else, anyways thanks for your time.

Newegg's HIS and Sapphire models restock on 6/30. I suggest waiting for that. Remember to spend all day refreshing the page. =D

Thanks for the suggestion, though I would like a Visiontek because of there lifetime warranty, ugh, I guess I'll just have to play the waiting game like everyone else

how long do you plan on owning this vid card? considering the warranty is non-transferable........

also be careful where you order from. i ordered from buy.com and bestbuy.com , both said "in stock" both sent me backorder notice. that was last wed, so i called and immediately cancelled orders, and i havent got creditted yet. since i ordered 2 cards from each, thats like $1300 still tied up with those assholes. i ordered 2 same day from newegg, will be here monday.

I ordered a Visiontek myself, but after researching them a little bit more I'm kind of regretting it because there's tons of horror stories about their RMA process...

^ yeah , Tigerdirect has a warehouse in Texas , and there gonna charge me 40 bucks in taxes

Availability is currently poor and we will have to wait a few weeks before its stabilizes.
Price gouging is common too.

I have info from AMD that availability problems should be resolved in 2 weeks :)

wow that sucks, I always order from a trusted vendor such as newegg. Bestbuy and buy.com are both scrubs.

On Amazon as long as they have not packed for shipping, you can easily cancel online. I wouldn't bet they would have it before a week or two. It's good if you don't want to pay the tax and have a free slow shipping :D

I would just wait mid-july and get better price.

I believe they are not being shipped in large quantities but they are being shipped constantly, so that is why someone somewhere has them in stock, well atleast most of the time, so they should be available in good quantities as we head in to july and on. either newegg, tigerdirect. so if you can order from anyone else and they are in stock, jut be aware because best buy is saying they have them in stock but they don't. Newegg, tigerdirect and other reputable etailers just won't let you order if they don't have them in stock.

it would be great for ATi if the 4870 turned out to be what the Wii is to Nintendo lol :p
