I'm getting some seriously shitty results from the free version of 3Dmark05. Do I need to upgrade to pro for it to work properly? Results are down in the low 600's when I should be seeing another zero on the end of that number. When the tests are running, frame rates never exceed 3 FPS.

Thanks

Onboard video Geforce 6150 - Should benchmark around 6600 in 3Dmark05 judging by reviews and other users. Games work fine, only 3Dmark05 is running slow.

CPU: Venice 3200+
MEM: 2x512MB DDR500 Ballistix

actually 600 is the correct score. I dunno where you read 6600, but they are lying through their teeth. My motherboard has the onboard 6100, and it is horrible, and the 6150 isnt much faster.

What reviews are you looking at? You are not going to get 6000+ in 3Dmark05. It takes a high end card to be in that range. You have your information mixed up somewhere...

when my setup gets laid is when ill see a steady score of 6000. thats impossible for an onboard video.

6000+ is a great score for an overclocked $200 PCIE 6800GS.

The 6150 might get a few thousand in 3dMark03, but certainly not 3dMark05. Not by a long shot.

My 6100 got around 400-500.

sorry, but you score is about right. Onboard video won't score anything on that benchmark. You'll need to upgrade to a true independent video card to see higher results. Maybe you are confusing the 6150 or whatever for a true 6800GT.

Even my 6800GT just hovers around 5000 points. Onboard anything sucks, especially video.

As the others here have said...600 is about right for 3DM05 with your onboard graphics card. I assume you are thinking of 3DM03 or even 3DM01....

lol, 600 is just about right, i have a 7800GT and i hit about 7500 everytime, theres now way that card is even going to hit 5/6 of this one.

Yes, your score is a bit low. With a 6100/S754 A64 @ 3400+/single channel memory I got 608 points. The faster 6150 core + dual channel memory should be a couple hundred points higher. But it's still slow. ;)

well.. could it be because of your proc?

Definatley not, P4s are *slightly* slower than Athlon 64s but not by that much...
For reference, I had an X800Xl with a P4 3ghz(Dell of all things) and I scored 47xx....
