It broke Nvidia Profile Inspector for me, not sure if I can live without it.

Fixed a bug where VSync would always default to On on reboot. Nice.

EDIT: But now I have a debilitating new bug that instantly crashes games and messed up CUDA (as far as I can tell, not bothering with it anymore, back to 368.81)

I installed these with the hope of No Man's Sky improvements.

Sadly, no such luck.

Still, no general issues thus far.

Did these drivers make No Man's Sky worse for you? I actually had perfect performance on the 369.05 driver then I updated to these and to completely wrecked NMS performance (and yes I deleted shader cache to test it). Rolled back to 369.05. This is the first time I've had a driver issue in years.

Posted already over here about my experience with these, but like Lmah2x this is the first major issue I've had with nVidia drivers in a LONG time (other than installing them through GeForce Experience which has always been hit or miss for me).

I noticed some stuttering in NMS after updating the GeForce drivers. It only seemed to occur when launching the game and smoothed out after playing for a bit.

I'm going to check tonight to see if it's a consistent issue.

After applying the new patch for NMS, the game runs like butter using the latest drivers.

Thank God.

Anyone know how to fix the DPC Latency issue with these drivers and GTX 1080s? Is there an easy fix or do we have to wait for NV to patch it in the next drivers?

Its fixed for single cards. Not for SLI as you can see in the first post.

I updated to these yesterday and every couple of seconds I am getting flashes and flickering on the screen, when scrolling in all browsers or even when idle after doing any action. Didn't have this issue before and the monitor is new as well. I managed to get a video of it too. What seems to fix it is setting refresh rate to 120hz then back to 144 in the nvidia control panel.

Same thing here, known issue. You can also try using Adaptive Power rather than Optimal Power in the drivers, supposedly that has fixed it for some.

I think I will revert to the previous drivers since I didn't have that issue on that version. I'll try the adaptive option but I'm suspecting other things are going on. For example overclocking or game performance. I saw yesterday overwatch was showing me 14fps at one point.

Yeah there are issues with overclocking supposedly as well...lower stable OC possible with these drivers.

I can reach 2114 in 368.95, I get the same in these

Edit: Suppose I should've mentioned WIn7 and Pascal

That usually isn't an issue with the driver, it's an issue with the overclock. Newer drivers are generally optimized to use the hardware better. When the hardware is running at a higher utilization level, an overclock is more likely to fail.

Possibly. I haven't done any major testing with these because of the previous issue, but a LOT of people were complaining about significantly decreased OC capability.

I have reverted to driver 368.81 from 372 and the flickering issues are gone now.

I have no problems with this driver but my OC is a bit lower now, i.e. the gpu drops clocks and voltage a bit more aggressively than earlier. For example on previous drivers i was not going lower than 2063/1.081, however with these drivers I get 2050/1.081 or even 2038/1.075 with the same temps. Doesn't really bother as after between 2000 MHz and 2100 the difference is around a mere fps, though I'm surprised that drivers affect OC behavior anyhow.

Getting serious flickering and desktop artifacts with this one. Back to 368.95.

Thought I'd post again to report things are still rock solid on my end. (/w OC)

Bear in mind I'm still on Win7 and using a Maxwell-based card etc.

I wonder what is causing the flickering issues on these drivers if others are not having it sometimes. I installed these twice and still had flickering desktop artifacts which is why I reverted. I also have the latest windows 10 update.

Yep, we have the same monitor.

I lost pretty close to 100 mhz from my peak overclock and 50 to 75 from my average in game clocks.

Any particular applications/games? I've got a G-sync monitor and haven't had any flickering (that I've noticed).

I have seen odd behavior in Diablo 3 (cannot do fullscreen, must use windowed fullscreen) which Blizzard support said was caused by Windows 10 AU. Older Source games (i.e. Titanfall, HL2) had some strange issue with alpha that I can't consistently duplicate.

Not sure but for my monitor it was flickering immediately after install. Any time I would scroll or do any action such as opening any app, I would get desktop artifacts/flickering lines going across.

This always comes up from time to time. Some driver optimizations can lean on the gpu harder, exposing that an overclock in fact may not be totally reliable.

Same here. Someone hypothesized that it happens when the card changes clock speed, which would make sense if that power setting is a workaround.

So far 372.54 drivers are much lower performing and less stable compared to 368.64, and it looks like I'm not the only one that noticed. MSI GeForce GTX 1060 Gaming X 3GB Review

Overclocks are lower on the newer drivers, for example, Tomb Raider (2013) would crash almost immediately upon starting with an overclock on my 1060 gaming x of more than 120 MHz and crash randomly with almost any level of overclock. With 368.64 it's stable with a 160 mhz overclock.

Witcher 3 will crash to desktop randomly with 372.54 and almost any level of overclock, 368.64 hasn't crashed yet in W3 with the same 160mhz OC.

Definitely sticking with the 368.64 for now, and it's not an isolated case.

For what's it worth, on my original Titan X (Maxwell) 4-way SLI setup this driver disabled 2 cards in The Witcher 3, so in SLI only 2 cards were being used, all 4 cards worked with prior drivers. Huge performance hit at 4K so went back to the old drivers. I wonder if Nvidia is silently killing 3+ SLI support even for older hardware. Either it's a bug or they're purposefully removing this from future drivers. Did not check if other games were affected.

I used DDU and the flickering went away after a reinstall it appears. I don't think this driver is a good driver to write over the existing.
