Looks like enhancements for MGSV Ground Zeroes and Elite, hopefully it has the DP fix integrated for the 900 series.

From what I read, this driver fixes the full RGB range over HDMI issue that's been around for a few years.

I haven't had any issues yet, and downloaded as soon as they were available. For my purposes it seems to be a pretty stable release for a beta.

I notice in the release notes they added a statement to further undermine the intelligence of those of us dealing with the voltage issue in SLI...

It's about stability, you assholes...

Wow, some really nice gains here in the new 347.09 driver... I saw these posted elsewhere:

EDIT: Fixed image....

Assassin's Creed Unity is now horizontally compressed when running in borderless windowed mode. Had to switch to full screen.

No other issues here.

These driver are their first release using Auto Stereo (part of their VR Direct updates). This is supposed to render games that don't have Rift support in a manner that they look playable through the rift, however they fuck up Rift enabled games by sowing the split image on both eyes, so no go for Rift users until they flesh out their implementation.

Not sure if this is driver related or just Ubisoft being Ubisoft, but SLI flickering BIG TIME with their latest patch. Not sure if it's shadows or textures, but I've tried turning things up and down with settings and the only thing that fixes the issue is turning sli off for the game, but then performance suffers.

Not very specific... What game? Several Ubisoft titles just came out.

What video card, and are you referring to the dark shadow SLI bug or something else?

I've reported the issue to NVIDIA

I am using GTX 970s. It is not exactly the same as the dark shadow bug...but very similar. It is like there are no shadows visible, then when you look down it gets shadow dark. Sorry, hard to explain.

Vanishing/flickering shadows? Like they go on and off?

Is this with the shadow setting on "Soft Shadows" or "Ultra" ?

Thank you for the info, it will help them get these things fixed.

If nVidia wanted to "get things fixed" they would've fixed the SLI voltage issue instead of lying through their teeth about it in the driver release notes.

Differing GPU Voltages in SLI Mode

When non-identical GPUs are used in SLI mode, they may run at different voltages. This occurs because the GPU clocks are kept as close as possible, and the clock of the higher performance GPU is limited by that of the other. One benefit is that the higher performance GPU saves power by running at slightly reduced voltages.

An end-user gains nothing by attempting to raise the voltage of the higher performance GPU because its clocks must not exceed those of the other GPU.

Lies, lies, and more lies.

Yes. Vanishing/flickering shadows is a great description. This is with the setting on "Soft Shadows". I have not tried any other setting, but I will in a bit. Thanks for getting on top of relaying this to nVidia.

Edit: This is weird. I turned the shadows onto the "Ultra" setting and everything looked normal. Then I turned it back to "Soft Shadows" and it seems to look correct now. I will keep you updated on if it goes back to the flickering again.

Edit 2: After alt+tabing back into the game the shadows were messed up again in the "Soft Shadows" mode.

Ok thank you, this is the exact issue I'm having as well. NVIDIA is aware of it.

There is a patch coming out soon for FC4, it may fix this issue.

Anyone know of a way to get rid of the ground flickering in Dragon Age Inquisition?

Driving me nuts, its smooth as hell maxed out expect the flickering.

I am in these beta drivers.

Even had DSR 4k going getting between 50-60fps with everything maxed out except 2xMSAA. Although I JUST got past the first intro part. It's just the flickering is just too annoying to keep playing.

Ok an update. I lied I got a lil farther playing with DSR 4k and my god I had to turn off MSAA to get better frames, what an intense game. I am loving max details.

I figured out the flickers. You need to disable in game vsync, and force vsync with the Nvidia control panel, fixed all my flickering issues.

This game is simply badass in 4k.

So is this beta driver really that much more significant to use than the current 344.75?

Yeah I hope they fix that for you guys since I've been using it for weeks.

It's been working in SLI mode since release, though some had a bug where it wouldn't enable. I ran gtx970 sli as a pair with it and had zero problems.

You can even use custom refresh rates with it through standard utilities both card mfg's need (toastyx utility), though normally you were able to set that through the nvidia control panel.... you can't yet with dsr though. I game on a 4k panel but I tested a couple of weeks using an oc'd xstar dp2710 at 2560x1440 with 100hz refresh rate dsr'd to 4k or a bit below for some games. Far inferior detail compared to native but a nice boost and enjoyable/worth enabling for sure.

^ I am seeing these type of results in FC4 and AC Unity with these new BETA drivers, unbelievable the performance gains made with these drivers and Maxwell. I haven't played anything else yet but I might fire up some Bf4 to see if it also got a nice performance bump, though it doesn't really need one the game runs great now.

Hmm this driver did improve some games like Thief and Metro LL. AC 4 was not even playable back on the 344.16 drivers with bad hitching and framerate drops even on reduced settings but is just fine now. Is it me or does it seem like Nvidia has a better track record with beta than they do with WHQL? lol

Same here on GTX980 G1

Installed new beta drivers and now my overclock is not stable. Driver crash within 5 min ;/

Interesting. I just checked my OC with the new Beta a few hours a go. Ran Heaven in a window for 45 minutes, no issue. Did you perform a clean install with Disply Driver Uninstaller?

Using a 2GB Asus 770 GTX here.
