Korea has the fastest broadband in the world with many leading electronic device and auto manufacturers. How are they a third world country?
I think he forgot where "gangnam style" comes from...
Americans want to be like Psy.

They accepted $305 for a perfect pixel with free return shipping up to 1 year if defective.
Yeah, thats the one I got too. I haven't heard anything since august 2nd though... hopefully they ship it.
They don't give a tracking number unless you pay extra for it. Its also been a weekend.

-- They've got the best and fastest Internet connections.Over all there a great awesome buy. Whats very sad is we have to go to the 3rd world to buy it.. we can even make them that cheap here.
It also cant Overclock to 120hz without significant artifacting (crazy lines).
Also, when its on low brightness the screen seems to flicker?
Do you get that flicker at low brightness even at default refresh rate?
If not: That sounds like PWM-flicker... damnit... I hope that's not the case. So far I haven't seen much indication that this monitor has this problem.
Sorry about your luck
I got the monitor.
Lovelypeople didn't actually ship the monitor until I contacted them six days later... they do give a tracking number/update eBay.
They told me they appreciate that I waited and didn't get a refund (they offered a refund) and that it would ship that day, and it did. also that I would contact them when I receive it to get a special only for me partial refund for waiting.
Anyway, I got it today, unboxed it, the DVI-D cable that goes INTO the monitor cant actually be screwed in for some reason, it didn't fall out so far... but that shouldn't happen...
I ordered the pixel perfect, and when I booted up windows I instantly saw a stuck green pixel on the middle-ish upper right side of the screen.
It also cant Overclock to 120hz without significant artifacting (crazy lines). It does have some blacklight bleeding, not VERY excessive, but still a lot more than one would want.
The panel isn't also 100% secured, it has a little "panel play"?
Wish the stand would allow the monitor to be a little taller too.
Also, when its on low brightness the screen seems to flicker?
I'm going to return this one for sure, haven't decided if I want to chance it with another replacement. pretty disappointed.
edit: also, the box has two stickers that says OC OVERCLOCK on it, one red korean language sticker, and one english red sticker that says ZERO Zero Dead Pixel. the power plug I got was 100-240V with a wall plug adapter. When I plugged the power into the monitor I saw a yellow spark, didn't seem to damage anything though.
And for some reason I see QX2710LED instead of the colorful LED symbol in the top right bezel from what I see in the sellers ebay pictures, maybe they're changing things in it?
I bought from lovelypeople, and after a few days they didn't ship. I messaged them, and they said the one they pulled for me had 5+ dead pixels, so they are looking for a perfect one and asked if I wanted a refund, or to wait. Im in no rush so I said Id wait as long as its really perfect. Still waiting......
Lol sorry man but you really expect them in Korea to inspect it for dead pixels and blacklight bleed?
Yes I do. Their page says perfect pixel, zero dead pixels, etc etc.
The manufacterer put a sticker on the box claiming Zero Dead Pixels too.
backlight bleed, well, thats another issue that happens with even the expensive monitors/brands and not something I deeply care about.
But if you promise no pixel defects, it should have no pixel defects. I don't care if you're in china, zimbabwe or korea.
Give it some time, mine did 120Hz for a couple days, then I started to notice some vertical colorful interlacing. It goes away sometimes, sometimes its pretty bad. I guess when you are at the edge of being stable, it can go both ways.
There is an option in some video drivers to use centered timings so that you run the game with black letter boxes around the centered image. even if centered timinsg are nor supported for some reason, every card is capable of scaling the game to the monitor resolution just fine. but do not expect it to look good. some games never look good no matter what.
I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. I really don't want the black letter boxes, I want to upscale 1920x1080 (the highest res I can get decent frames at) to 2560x1440.
Would it really look that bad? Is that because of the lack of inbuilt scaling in the monitor itself?
Before my TV was broken I would often run certain games at 720p and let my television upscale them to 1080p and I thought it looked just fine. Do you think the experience would be similar with this monitor?
Couldn't I just set the QNIX QX2710's resolution to 1920x1080 in the resolution options in windows like I do with my other monitors? Or will this monitor not run at another resolution?
Thanks
A little update on the dead pixel on the perfect pixel monitor...
ebay says im right about this "case", that I can return it, I have to pay shipping (even though the seller's page says they pay it). and they pretty much refuse to help. all they kept telling me for hours was "you're right"
paypal is useless.
That was my first, and last purchase on ebay. I'm lucky I paid with a very good credit card company, so they'll refund me.
I also found 4 other defects, like at the bottom of the screen, the screen actually goes INTO the bezel, hiding 3-5% of the screen. and others
I just got a bill in the mail from fedex after getting my monitor last month. Wtf is this about?
I hate you are having all those issues with them. And paypal doesn't even want to help. I'm guessing you showed them pictures of the monitor when you contacted them? Hopefully your credit card company will fix the problem for you. Seller is looking very bad for not wanting to hep or resolve the issue on the monitor. Thanks for the information you are providing to us.
