WTF, do you live in a motel?

I'm willing to bet he's doing business deals so he has to stay in a hotel most of his life... or it's a nice dorm room.

Yeah I'm thinking it is a dorm room actually.

At first i thought it wasnt going to sound very good, but actually it didnt take anything away from the sound quality.

for your sake, the fridge plug better not be in the same wall outlet as the rest of your computer. As all fridge do really bad voltage flunctation to the rest of the outlet.

Just a minor change:

New armless chair I picked up yesterday:

Main reason I picked it up, cleaner, sleeker, space saver, and for its minimalistic look:

Thanks bro. I hear you on the arm rest deal, but it will be a pretty good change for me. I like my back to be straight up and so far it's doing a very nice job. It could use more cushion though :(.

About the 5.1 setup, I would have (actually had one awhile back) but I dislike too much wiring to be hanging out. Why can't they release affordable wireless surround sound speakers that looks nice and sleek (preferrably black with metal base bezel :D to match my Sony P234B ).

How do you keep your desks so clean?!?!

It actually gets dusty very easily. Oh and believe me, it gets dirty from time to time. It just so happened that I cleaned up today while assembling a small shelf and my new chair. It's no mystery, we all can be slobs, we just need to clean up once in awhile :D!

Maintenance is key though, if you maintain from leaving stuff hanging out, surprisingly things do not accumulate and get out of hand.

I blame entropy. lol, I'm gonna have to try to maintain my desks every once inawhile and see if I can make mine look that good.

Thats wayyy too minimalistic/contemp. At least give it some warmth!

i really like the minimalistic look, i might pick up that same desk, where did you get it?

O'Doyle : Nice desk but isn't very hard to take care since it's a glass and easy got finger prints?

Yup it does. It also attracts dust quickly, but I love this desk. I will only replace it with a black glass desk :). I already know which one too, it just costs so much for a desk. Oh well, the price we pay for to get what we want.

What's wrong with minimal? I hear you on the warmth though, but I'm moving to a bigger place in the summer (hopefully ).

Were you replying to me? If so, I bought my desk @ Staples. It's a Z-line "L" desk which retails for $149.99 but I got mine on sale for $79.99 :D!!! Just wait for a sale. Thanks for the compliment (if you were talking to me, lol).

Yea, but it'll look real good when you get an AMD Athlon 64 FX60 in there!

Oh, and DarthBeavis, nice house......that you plan on buying for your computer. I'm sure it will thank you, how ever that may be! :p

Here is a shot of my rig (sides and top of cause I am doing wire management work) internals. We are also in process of buying a new house for the rig (I consider it an expensive mod for my computer):

God hates gloaters...

Seriously though I'm glad you are able to afford such a unique computer and what looks to be a nice home.

Considering I lived in a rented double-wide in 1997 and a 115k house since 1998 I don't see why I should not be proud to have earned something.

well it works, im envious. I have a nice setup myself (at least plenty to my liking), but its only dual 17 inchers, imagine adding 13 inches to one of these makes me drool. And yea, i should move out someday, but for now free rent and food YAY :D

It's been a while, but I'm back. A few upgrades to my home workspace. Mostly internal. I've upgraded the guts of my systems, but have kept the cases (why throw awway perfectly functional cases). My wires are a mess, but I'm too busy to really care about it. When I get a chance, I'll post a panaromic view of my other workspace.
