i like your little station there.. nice and clean but i hate your microsoft mice.. i know they suck becasue i have both of them .. logitech MX510 is awesome
That's not a reason why they suck. "Because" implies that you are about to give a rationale for your analysis, which is perfectly valid by the way. I have a fork of a particular Brand X. I know it sucks because I have it. The Brand Y forks are much better. You see? It doesn't make sense. This, however, does: I have a Brand X fork and it sucks because it doesn't spear food easily. Brand Y forks are much better.

nice explanation.

btw, nobody cares...

fyi, this is how flame wars start. somebody says something, and then somebody else has to make a comment. if the additional comment isnt made, then it just flies, and nobody cares. if you really have a problem, just keep it to PMs/emails. and keep it clean, even outside the forum.

Yeah, because, ya know, outside the forums you could get shot. Or worse-made fun of IN FRONT of people! (rather than made fun of on an online forum-where you can hide behind your computer screen) ANYWAYS //backontopic//

man. i wouldve kept all of those monitors from your first setup. that wouldve been nice!

[OFFTOPIC@LESMAN]
i said keep it clean because sometimes users can get in trouble due to hassling another member, even if its outside the forum. some forums will repremand a user even if the forum was not involved (ie, the posts/PMs were not made on the forum).

Nice G5 clone. Company name? With a little modding, it can be better. As is, it's very unpolished and hackery.

I almost bought the same case down here in NC. It looks like a nice start for a mod project. Its $60 bucks but its pretty cool. :D

Ah, I see now. This is one of those awkward moments where I think - is he joking with me or does he really not see the splotches on my lens? Hehe.

nope, that's my new setup back at home in southern California (Redlands, specifically)... I was at San Francisco State this past yeart since August however.

Here is mine (still waiting for the Mac Mini):

klick for big

The VGA and USB Connectors on the left side are the second connector of the KVM-Switch between the two monitors. (Right TFT and USB keyboard and mouse will be switch between PC and Mac)

i've tried using an M$ natural keyboard before, had one at my job for a while (programmer, so i use a keyboard literally 8+ hours a day). Gotta say, my hands never hurt more than they did after a day of using that thing. maybe that's just me tho.

You gotta get used to it.

tried... used it all day, everyday, during a 46 hour work week... it was actually a bet between me and my boss. he said if i used it for a week i'd be hooked for life. definitely won that $20. But, to each his own, i have nothing against the keyboard, it seemed to be well built and quite tactile, i just can't stand to use it is all...

nothing will ever be as good as IBM's keyboards on their thinkpad notebooks (specifically the T40 series)... it's simply sublime

I was so enamored with the Jerker desks I've seen on this forum, that I went out to Ikea the other day and bought and assembled one. Next up is some needed wire management. :p

Any way you could pm me a link to that background?

I like the MX1000 quite a bit. It took a few days to get use to the increased sensitivity of it, and I had to readjust settings in Windows and my games to a more reasonable level, but after that it's very nice to use. It's got a great ergonomic feel to it, and I like the extra buttons as well. You can customize them for a lot of different functions. The RF transmissions are apparently done at 125 times a second both ways, so that it refreshes just like a wired USB mouse does. I cannot detect any lag at all, and my most played games are by far first person shooters. Battery life is good as well; at an average use of 6-8 hours a day of using it, it lasts about 5-6 days between recharges.

Ok good I am looking into getting one and I basicly play games like Call of Duy, Call of Duty United Offensive, America's Army, Joint Operations, and Battlefield Vietnam.
