I don't think he had that beautiful ibook last time. Anyways awsome setup gordy.

Hopefully if I can get a camera soon I'll have some before and after shots.

Hey gordy, nice setup, love the clean-ness. Anyway, does that Starck mouse work alright for you? I was using one for a few months and it sucked really bad...jumped all over the place, wouldn't work on the surface of my desk, is yours working alright?

Indeed I've only just got the powerbook last week.

I was a bit worried before I ordered it as I heard stories like yours, I have to say its great , I've not had any problems using it on any surface. I've noticed it jumping very rarely when I first move it after say 15mins away from the computer but no other times. The mousewheel isnt great but I can put up with it. I use a logitech mx1000 on my pc so anything is second best to that but this is good for what I need on the mac :)

Heres my somewhat ok station I guess :p

I was so enamored with the Jerker desks I've seen on this forum, that I went out to Ikea the other day and bought and assembled one. Next up is some needed wire management. :p

Yeah man, mine is in perfect condition and works great!!

I love it.

Also below all that I have a harman kardon tape player that you might not be able to see cause the subwoofer, and a pioneer record player....haha those dont get much use though. :p

Mine was a hand-me down from my mom. 1000x the quality of the sharp prebuilt stereo system I bought be4 it (bought @ bestbuy and luckily it broke so I returned it :) ) I'm running 2 yamahas on it, a samsung DVD player (for cds and dvds) Mine is a bit different than yours though. It has four channels (2 right, 2 left, not surround just stereo), 2 tape inputs, aux, phono, am/fm, loud setting, low filter, the watt/db meters are further to the left.. Bleh I'll just post a pic.

making full use of that rack mount switch i see
yup, a laptop and my desktop and one upload on a 32 port 10/100 switch :) i don't know how it is handling all that data ;)

I use it for lan parties, i have an 8 port that i usually use, but i have not unpacked it from college yet

Man I like alot of you guys!!

I wish I had a basement I would have a sick setup with a pool table, big screen tv and nice system etc.

you can have a lot of stuff without a lot of room, my room is no more then 12x12 feet and i have a ton of stuff in here, not much room to move around but with a L shaped desk with each direction of the L being 6 feet long and 3 feet wide you have a lot of room to do stuff ;) i also setup my old tv table next to me so i have a cubicle effect.. mmmm efficiency

basements are cool, i have the big-ish (40" high-def samsung) tv right behind my basement workstation (seen above), and we have the pool table room upstairs. the only problem with the basement is that it is freakin' cold down here right now. my dad and I are planning on finishing it over the summer, but i don't know when.

here is a pic of the TV/Xbox

Nice TV, but it looks like something was spilled on it....a few times. ;)

EDIT: could it be coke? :D

yeah, i had it in my dorm last semester and with 5 other guys in the room and several parties it got a little gunked up, havn't gotten around to cleaning it up since i got home. it is'nt really that bad, the flash on my camera just highlights dust etc.
