120Hz LCD Info Thread

Are any of the 1080p 120Hz monitors other than the Acer and the Alienware models available yet? I should get around to buying a set now that NVIDIA surround drivers are finally out.
 
Im gonna be picking up a 120hz lcd within a month. Has to be at best buy just because I have a $350 gift card to use there.

looking like the Acer is my only choice right now. They just pulled the viewsonic and Asus from the site. Maybe that means new models soon???
 
Apparently it uses an LED backlight. WTB. Why can't these things hit retail faster? I need to set up my 3D Vision Surround environment.
 
I want a 120hz panel too! I can,t find one except the acer, but it feels a bit expensive here in Canada . :(
 
yeah the lg seems the best choice for a 120hz tft right now
its kinda stupid it was tested against another tft but the samsung only has 0-1 frames lag anyway
just wish it was 40" and ips
 
So both the LG and Asus 23" use LED backlighting and don't mention it anywhere?

Anyone have a link where I can buy the LG W2363D?
 
Wouldn't it be better to wait a little bit and see how will the new 120hz asus monitor be?
 
That's cuz they use clone mode which gives inconsistent/inaccurate results. 3Dvision blog does it right and uses DVI splitter.
 
seems thatthe Asus 27' is not going to be released before the end of the year.
So i am buying the Acer GD245HQAbid. This seems to be a newer model than the Acer GD245HQbid.
Only difference is the A. Anyone knows what the difference is??

not sure the difference. But it is looking like im going to be getting the US version of that
 
hmmm found seems to be stand. HQA is the A stands for All black, meaning the is black compared to the other has a red stand.
 
Yes I also believe that's the case because on a swedish site it was advertised as a new version that's black. Hopefully it would have further improvements to the overdrive function or something but I doubt it.
 
Anyone have any comparisons between the 2265wm and the 2268wm? I thought the 2268 was the new and improved European model but the US Viewsonic website states different:

they are pretty much the same
except that the 2265wm doesn't have a usable firmware (can't adjust brightness etc)
 
So are any of the 120hz lcds leading the pack in best choice? I'm ready to buy but still on the fence. Just waiting for some more confirmation/reviews of what to get. I'm looking for least amount of motion blur (ghosting) as my main want.

The Asus and LG will be released soon right, but how soon?
