PSP for sure. Lots and lots of great games. Integration with PS2 and (soon) PS3. It looks sharp. Wireless capabilities that allow you to play games wirelessly and to surf the web (not too shabby). Plays movies...and regardless what people say, its not that hard to do. Granted, you do have...
i have always had the same problem as well. i just end up setting my speakers to clone so i get sound out the rear speakers....not true 5.1, but its better than nothing. and ive tried what seems like everything to get it working properly.....drivers, different combos of settings, etc...
i'm going to upgrade to the 2.0 version. i can live without the homebrew stuff. i'm looking forward to the legit web browser.
im tempted to get rid of my black psp and get the white one...when it comes out of course. i need to see it in person first. it would be cooler with the GT logo in...
i highly recommend the evga 6800gt pci-e card. this is my second card from them. needless to say, i love it. it overclocks very nicely as well (results may vary - as always). i hear bfg is very good as well. i may make my next purchase from them.
here is the product description:

so, should I go with this or something else? if something else, any recommendations?
i feel like nintendo has been left in the dust this round. i think the ps3 will probably end up winning this round (again). the xbox360 will most likely end up doing better than the original xbox. and, i wouln't be suprised if the revolution sold worse than the gamecube.
Im still in the training mode....however, I am stuck because there is a part where you have to do side kick to the left out of a railslide onto another rail, then you have to do a side kick to the right out of that railslide. It tells you to hit X and the left/right arrow. However, it doesn't...
i dont agree with this completely.....i have come across a few games where its better to play them on one platform verses another. im sure this varys from person to person, but, for example, i happened to like playing GTA:Vice City on a PS2 vs. on a PC. sure, the graphics are better on a PC...
it is noticeably longer than, say, untold legends and thug2....however, i wouldnt say it is any worse than on the ps2. i found that the game is so addicting that i dont even notice the load times any more. and once your playing a game and if you need to stop, just use the 'sleep mode'...
I also love my PSP and have been playing it pretty much nonstop since I got it. I really enjoy Tiger Woods and Untold Legends. I enjoy THUG2:Remix, but this being the first Tony Hawk game I've played, I'm still struggling with how to score points/not lose points (but that's a different...
well, you have to figure that since the next shipments aren't even going to make it into the US til next month, 1-2 weeks isnt bad. esp. since you are able to still use the device even though it may have dead pixels. i bought the 1yr extended warranty from ebgames so i could exchange it with...
it looks like all that complaining worked....good decision by Sony. however, if they were smarter, they would have done this from the get-go instead of pissing off a lot of people right away.

i love hearing people complain about a unit they dont even own. mine is working great.
btw, the defects mentioned above are old news and have been fixed. 0.6% of PSP's launched in Japan had defects....they were all fixed for the US launch. sick of hearing all the old news...
i got mine this morning delievered at work. it is pretty impressive. i played a little tiger woods so far. the load times when you start the game take a while. however, it looks really, really good. but i wouldn't say the load times on tiger woods are worse than on a ps2 game or a pc game...
