I'm now looking for a new photo printer to substitute for my HP Deskjet 960c in photo printings. One possible candidate is the Canon i960 photo printer; do any of you have other suggestions? (Price range: $200 - 320 cdn)

no equivalent? so if a certain game doesn't list AMD as its minimum requirement (not sure if this is widespread, but i've seen game boxes that doesn't list amd), then there's no way my friend can know if he can play the game or not? i mean, isn't there at least a comparison available?

Ok well, my friend is gonna be purchasing an AMD system soon (possibly a 2200+ XP) and he really wants to know (for future references when purchasing games, apps, whatever) the intel equivalent pentium processor that he'd be getting.

What would you guys consider to be an Intel equivalent of an AMD 2200+, a P4 2.2 GHz ?

Well i've had it - gonna delete ME and go back to XP...sigh...ME just plain sucks...gonna tweak it again but not sure if it'll help at all with the boot speed (which takes like freakin 5 min)...

I ran spybot- S&D, adaware on the system, and got rid of the spywares, but it still takes 5 min to boot up, i've also used tuneup utilities to get rid of unneeded files, and i've ran bootvis.exe from ms to speed up the system (I've also disabled useless processes). Not sure why it's so slow...

is there any way to password-lock specific folders in xp?

yeah i've already tried tweaking the services and other xp features, and all it did was decrease the boot time from 10 min down to 5, but the overall speed is still SLOWWWWW as hell...
