TBH, I think it showed as something like 1mil vram. Definitely did not see ram correctly or GPU speeds correctly. But it mined roughly the same as a different stock clocked 280x.

I'd give it a go. I had a 280x that was a solid mining card that had tons of artifacting/gaming issues.

Might be a legit option. A local boutique here does exactly that and they make bank off the used parts on ebay.

Yes, just storage spaces (no parity, just a big span). I get sustained transfer speeds anywhere between 200-250mb/s. Not sure how that would compare to Hardware RAID or ZFS.

So did a bit more testing with this today, and when the card is plugged in, the top GPU no longer works correctly. The GPU in the second slot still works. I trie playing around with PCIe gen settings but that didn't get me anywhere. What else could I try to get things working?
